When and where is the wedding taking place?

August 1st, 2026! 1:30 PM: Ceremony at The Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament 5:30 PM: Cocktail Hour & Reception at Lovett Hall

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Answer

No! Our ceremony is at the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament and our cocktail hour and reception is at Lovett Hall.

What time should guests arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 1:30 PM, please arrive at least 15 minutes early prior to the ceremony to park and find your seat.

What should I do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

There is about a 3-hour gap between the ceremony and reception. Please feel free to explore downtown Detroit, check into your hotel room, imbibe at the hotel bar, or take some time to go through the wonderful Henry Ford Museum grounds!

What’s the best way to RSVP, and when is the deadline?

Answer

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your RSVP by July 10th, 2026 so we can plan accordingly!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are children welcome at the wedding?

Answer

While we would love to see your kiddos, we decided to keep our ceremony and reception adults only. We hope you understand and can enjoy a fun night out!

Are there hotel blocks or recommended lodging nearby?

Answer

Yes! We have a room block at The Henry Autograph Collection Hotel. Be sure to book before 07/10/2026 to get the discounted rate. All information regarding booking is under the travel tab.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’d love for our guests to dress up and celebrate with us in style! Black Tie Optional means the event will be formal, but a tuxedo or evening gown is not required. Men are welcome to wear a suit and tie, and women can wear a long gown, formal dress, or other elegant evening attire.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will both be held indoors. Our cocktail hour will be primarily indoors with the opportunity to be outdoors if you wish!

Where should I park, and is parking free?

Answer

Yes! There is a designated parking lot at our venue that will be reserved for guests.

We are registered on Amazon and Crate & Barrel. We also have a few different cash fund options available towards our honeymoon!
