Islamorada Freebee Rideshare

Freebee provides a door-to-door transportation service free to the public with environmentally friendly electric vehicles. Rides are available from the north (approximately Mile Marker 90) to the south end (approximately Mile Marker 72) of the Village. Two larger vehicles accommodate a group of up to nine people. HOURS OF OPERATION: Fridays from 11am to midnight, Saturdays from 12pm to midnight Download the Ride Freebee app from the App Store or from Google play. If you don't have a smart phone, you may call 855-918-3733 to request a ride. Freebee picks up customers right at their home, hotel or a business within Islamorada. Request a ride and jump on board the electric vehicle to visit your favorite Islamorada destination. It’s not only a fun alternative transportation option – it reduces traffic congestion, addresses drinking and driving and reduces the Village’s carbon footprint.

This resort requires at least a 3-night minimum stay. However, it does have private residences to rent which could accommodate more people. It is at mile marker 80.4, another close option for our venue at Islamorada Fish Company. Rooms include a full kitchen and the resort has a pool and tiki bar. There is also a boat ramp for our boating guests!

Located about 25-30 minutes north of the venue, this luxury resort is a good option in the upper Keys, with closer access to MIA and FLL airports.

Located about 25-30 minutes south of the venue, a good option to stay in the middle Keys and have reasonable drives up to Key Largo and down to Key West.

Also located about 25-30 minutes south from the venue, this hotel is located in the middle Keys, it is a good option if you want to explore the islands before and after our wedding!

Homestead/Florida City

Staying in Homestead/Florida City puts you right at the start of US-1's route into the Florida Keys. It is significantly more affordable than resorts/hotels in the Keys. However, without traffic, it would be a lengthy drive of 53 minutes (47 miles) to the venue, and then back again late in the evening. If you decide this option is right for you, please give yourself extra time to travel to the venue on Saturday afternoon, traffic into the Keys on US-1 can back up on a Spring Break Saturday!
