FAQs

You've got questions, we've got answers!
Question

Can I wear jeans?

Answer

No!

Question

Is it still possible to RSVP after 12/31/21?

Answer

Sadly, due to supply chain concerns with some of the food, our RSVP window was limited. If you forgot to RSVP or weren’t able to before 12/31/21, please text or call either groom to see if we can accommodate! Otherwise, we assumed you were a decline, with regret!

Question

Do I need to complete the RSVP if I'm unable to attend?

Answer

Yes please, while we will be bummed you can't make it, it helps us plan if we know you're not coming!

Question

Is a hotel with beach access important?

Answer

The Keys are hit or miss with beaches, so it's not the most important thing in the world. There are also tons of public parks and access points for beaches, if you want to enjoy the Gulf/Atlantic waters!

Question

Will I need a rental car?

Answer

Most likely! To travel from any of the airports we recommend (FLL, MIA, or Key West) to your hotel, you will definitely need a rental car or very nice friends/family to pick you up ;) There are some limited Uber and Lyft options in the Keys, but can be pricey.

Question

The Keys don't have a lot of traffic, right?

Answer

Wrong! (Sometimes) There is one way in and one way out of the Florida Keys. The Overseas Highway varies from one lane to two, depending on the Key, so it can back up based on time of day, accidents, and crowds. Pack your patience and give yourself a little more time than your map app might say!

Question

What is the weather like in the Keys in March?

Answer

Average temperatures in the Keys in March vary from a low of 68/69 degrees, to a high of 79/80, should be perfect weather for a relaxing tropical getaway (knock on wood!)

Question

Should I worry about hurricanes?

Answer

Dear God, we hope not! But in all seriousness, hurricane season is later in the year, so barring any crazy weather anomalies, we shouldn't have to worry.

Question

What should I see and do while in the Keys?

Answer

There is a LOT to see and do, please check out our 'Things to Do' tab on the website main menu, which is across the top of the screen!

Question

Should I text either groom my RSVP?

Answer

No. ;)

For all the days along the way
