Hello people of the peoples, my name is Phillip Goins, and I am honored to be Jacobs best man. Jacob and Becca's story of how they met is something out of a movie. I remember the day after he had met this mysterious girl named Becca in a chance encounter at the Del Mar fairgrounds parking lot like it was yesterday. He couldn’t stop smiling from ear to ear, it was as if he was a 5-year-old kid who just got his first bike on Christmas morning. From that moment on I knew he would move heaven and earth for her. Jacob and I served in the Marines together and shipped to boot camp on the same day. We wouldn’t find that out until months later when we met in the fleet. We laugh about it now but the phrase, “PFC up,” would haunt us for endless nights in the early days of our friendship.

Hello, my name is Brittney! Becca and I have been friends for 17 years! We met in the first grade and we became forever friends ever since. Growing up, Becca and I always had the best time going to concerts, visiting different cities, camping, and our visits to the beach. Fun Fact: I was with Becca when she first met Jacob and I am happy to see them getting married to each other and being by her side on their wedding day.

Jacob has always been someone that I have always connected with, from the wildest conversations to the most mysterious moments. Now we both live in Utah, probably the last place we ever expected… but I wouldn’t change it for the world, and I am so thankful for having my brother here with me. These two love birds are amazing together and I can’t wait for them to share this magical day.

My name is Hayden Stinger, I’m 25 and I’ve known Jacob for about 13 years. We met at church and instantly became friends. Jacob and I also enlisted in the Marines together, just like how we used to do everything together back in the day.

Hi, I’m Lizzie! I had the gift of meeting Becca when my husband and I moved to Cedar City, Utah last year. We are both baristas at a local coffee shop and let me tell you...work is so fun when we’re together! Becca’s friendship has been such a blessing to me, she is caring, authentic, creative, fun, (has the MOST gorgeous hair you’ve ever seen...hands-down), and we share so much in common - it is absolutely refreshing to be around her. I am overjoyed for Becca and Jacob, they are one of the most precious couples I have ever met and I can not wait to see the beauty that will unfold for them in their life together! And a total bonus...we both get to be “Mrs. Johnson”!

I met Jacob in the military. Our first time hanging out was kinda forced on us. Our Command gave us some baseball tickets to the Padres so we had to go. I'm glad that we went because it gave me the opportunity to meet one of the best dudes in the world. From there we went everywhere together even on our first trip overseas. As luck would have it, we both got put in the same platoon AND same squad together, so we spent a lot of time together in and out of the country. Once we got back from deployment WE GOT ROOMED TOGETHER AS WELL!!! Being roommates we did everything together. I remember the times we would get up at the crack of dawn to drive 3 hours and hit the slopes. We both have the same riding style, so it was always dope to go riding with him.

About 6 months later I transfer to a different unit for a deployment and once I got back Jacob had a girlfriend, Becca. Jacob always talked about her hair, he loved her long, red hair (she does have awesome hair). Aww but anyways, Jacob was my best friend in the military. Heck even now I consider him one of my best friends. Honestly I love the guy. I hope both his and Becca's life together contains as much adventure and happiness as the years I got to spend with him, seeing him everyday. We don't talk much anymore, but I know he has my six as much as I have his. Till the end Brotha, love you.
