Barbie and Jacob first met in the fall of 2019, on every Tuesday and Thursday morning, to attend their Hebrew class. Throughout that fall semester, their acquaintanceship quickly turned into a deep friendship as the Hebrew professor kept forgetting who she paired who with previously, and Barbie and Jacob were always partnered together for class assignments. Outside of the classroom, they began talking and laughing with each other late into the night and until the sun was rising the next day. In a blink, they would rush to get the much-needed Dav coffee before continuing on to their classes and commitments. They started dating the week before spring break, and then received word one week later that American University would not reopen due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, despite the hardship of being forced into long distance early into their relationship, Jacob and Barbie's relationship only grew deeper. Barbie and Jacob have been inseparable ever since March 2nd, 2020, and have built a fantastic life together. They have one little girl (dog), Padfoot, and Barbie's overwhelming love for Jacob and Padfoot are the reasons she has not adopted several hundred more animals. They cannot wait for this next chapter in their lives, and are excited for you to celebrate a wedding that's been six and a half years in the making...
