The Pharmacy Burger Parlor & Beer Garden

Our favorite! We both love this simple yet fun restaurant! It offers numerous soda combinations, which pay homage to pharmacies of the past, and it features some of the best tater tots you can get.

Sadie’s Nashville

Another one of our favorites!! Sadie’s has been a recent brunch spot of ours during our days in Nashville. Their Mediterranean-inspired menu is full of fun choices for everyone!

Crema Coffee Roasters

A fun place that's always bustling. We often find ourselves here for a pit stop. Our go-to orders: cappuccino for Jacob and hot chocolate for AnLi (coffee soda is an honorable mention).

Barista Parlor W Nashville

This is a great coffee company with many different locations and unique drink options! Although we've only been there once, it's still a place we highly recommend.

Five Daughters Bakery | 12th South

Known for their iconic 100-layered donuts, this bakery is the place to go! With several locations throughout Nashville, this place is worth a visit.

AnLi’s Hometown

Chocolate Covered Strawberry

A Gallatin staple! While it’s a little out of the way, it’s a local favorite and AnLi’s go-to brunch spot in her hometown.

Prince Street Pizza & Pub

Jacob and I heavily relied on pizza for a quick meal during our time in pharmacy school. When he comes to visit Gallatin, we usually find ourselves here on a lunch date. It's located on the town square, which has some cute boutique stores and a coffee shop!

Things to Do

Pinewood

This lively space has been in Nashville for quite some time. It’s a place to eat, drink, bowl, and be social. Bowling lanes are rented by the lane, so bring your friends! Some spaces on the website are noted to be for ages 21 and older.

The Escape Game Nashville (Downtown)

This activity is a great way to pass time indoors! It’s a fun challenge for groups of all sizes, and there are lots of options based on age and difficulty.

Opryland Hotel

Opryland Hotel has many great activities to offer. A place for people of all ages, this resort has a gorgeous atrium to walk around, take a river cruise, or enjoy a bite to eat. There also is an indoor water park that’s available for year-round fun. If you love country music, get tickets and swing by the Grand Ole Opry for a quintessential Nashville experience. You never know who might grace the stage!

Cheekwood Gardens and Estates

This 1930’s estate is a great option to check out, especially if the weather is warmer. It has beautiful outdoor landscaping, fun trails, and a lovely art museum inside.

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

Calling all country music lovers! This museum is full of cool exhibits and experiences for all ages to enjoy!

Nashville Farmers' Market

This farmer’s market is full of fresh produce, restaurants, dessert places, and shops. It’s conveniently located in the heart of downtown, has free parking, and is both indoors and outdoors. It’s also close to bicentennial mall, which is awesome place to check out if the weather permits. It’s a great place to pass the time!
