Hotel
We reserved a block of rooms at this hotel in the heart of Mijas. Rates are €150 per night for a 2 person room, breakfast included. We recommend reserving 6/18 - 6/20. To book, email reservas.mijas@trhhoteles.com and say that you are booking for the Wisen Knego wedding.
Flight
Malaga is the largest airport, located about a 20 min drive from Mijas, Spain. There are direct flights from Newark, London, Paris, Madrid, and more.
Travel Note
(1) Saturday 6/14 or Sunday 6/15: Arrive in Malaga. Spend a day or two here if you can. (2) Tuesday 6/17: Head over to Mijas. Check into your hotel and head over to Marbella around 11 or 12 to spend the afternoon and evening there. (3) Wednesday 6/18: Everyone will start arriving to Mijas; hang out and show them the sights! Our rehearsal dinner is on 6/18. (4) Thursday 6/19: Our wedding is around 4pm. Hang out in Mijas and enjoy a long Spanish lunch. Or visit Cala de Mijas or Fuengirola (both about a 15 minute drive). See Things to Do tab for more details. (5) Friday 6/20: We'll likely organize a casual beach day in Malaga, about 30 min away. TBD. (6) Saturda 6/21: Safe travels home! If you fly home on Sunday, spend Friday and Saturday nights in Malaga so you can do a day trip on Saturday. We recommend Granada or Ronda - both are accessible by bus. 10 DAYS IN SPAIN
