Matron of Honor
Leslie was my roommate throughout 3 of the 4 years at Winona State. During this time, we grew together and developed a bond like true sisters (some people have even mistaken us as sisters!). We always joke that we were perfect roommates because Leslie is overly kind and forgiving and I was sassy and would stand up for the both of us. Even though Leslie lives in Iowa, works as a PA, and is married with a baby now, she still remains one of my truest and closest friends that understands me to the core and is always willing to chat and make the 4 hour drive to see me. Leslie is one of the most pure of heart, sincere, and kind people I have ever met and I am lucky to have her as my friend.
Best Man
Joshua has been my best friend since we met in elementary school. We founded the “two tons of fun” group together and within that group of chunky monkeys, we competed at everything from sports to girls all the way through high school. Josh and I haven’t lived in the same state for almost 10 years since we started college, but our friendship has never changed and we always pick up right where we left off. Josh is the one I like to bounce life goals off of and the one I reach out to for advice. Josh’s hard work and dedication not only shows in his professional career, but also in his personal life. He has run multiple half and full marathons and he is a half Ironman finisher! I’m proud of Josh for his professional and personal accomplishments and he always inspires me to do more. I'm honored to have Josh be my bestest mensch.
Matron of Honor
Taylor is my other bestie from the Winona days. Taylor and I lived together 2 out of the 4 years and she was always my friend that was down for a good time and would encourage us to have the best time possible! Taylor is a nurse and this is something that we bond over often, any nurse would understand! Taylor lives in Illinois with her husband, but this also has not kept us apart. The three Winona girls make an effort to prioritize our friendship and we always make sure that we have an event planned that we are looking forward to. Now a days, you will catch us putting on the rat pack, opening a bottle of wine, and making pasta from scratch. Taylor is my go to gal when I need someone to have my back or if I just need someone to listen. She is a true friend that is one of the most giving and thoughtful people I know, so lucky to have her!
Best Man
I’ve probably known Joe Vetsch the longest of all the men standing up with me. As brothers do, we competed at everything growing up. Even though Joe is 2 years older than me, I always gave him a good run for his money. Joe is a very hard worker and he isn't afraid to take on new challenges. In 2015 he moved away from all of his family and friends for a career opportunity up in Duluth, MN. Joe was very successful in his career up there and even somehow convinced his now wife to move from the warmth of Arizona to him in a city that I'm pretty sure has the longest winter ever. Joe is also a new dad to a beautiful baby boy named Jack who joined the family in June of this year! I love my little nephew and I’m honored to have my favorite brother standing up with me!
Bridesmaid
Heidi is my step-sister, seester, sista, but ultimately and truly, my sister. Heidi and I share a deep bond over one of the most special places on earth, Washington Island. We love to go boating, go to schoolhouse, cookout, and have beverages together. Although Heidi and I butted heads when we first became siblings, we only have gotten closer over time and I view her to be one of my best friends. Heidi is always down for a good time and I know that I can depend on her when I need sisterly advice, a friend to vent to, or a person to fight over the bathroom with when you are having a "bridesmaids" moment (yes, THAT scene). Heidi has set such an example for me throughout life and I always look to her when I too, have started to take these big steps in life like buying a house and getting married. I am so lucky that our parents brought us together!

Corey is my oldest friend standing up with me and we've known eachother since kindergarten. Corey was also a member of the "Two Tons of fun" group and competed against Josh and I our whole lives. Corey has always had a passion for sports and fitness and he was the only friend in our group to play football all 4 years in college at UW-Oshkosh. He continued on to earn his Masters in Kinesiology and is the Director of Strength and Conditioning at George Mason University in DC. I’m very proud to call Corey my friend!
Bridesmaid
Mary and I lived together for a year during nursing school and now lovingly refer to each other as big sis and little sis as in our tiny apartment, we fought and had so much fun, just like sisters! Mary also loved to live up to the name little sis and would do things like leave the bathroom a mess or kill my plants while I was gone. Mary is also a nurse and works with children, which is so fitting because she is so fun to be around and can make any bad situation brighter with her laughter and fun spirit! Mary and I quarantined together, where we learned how to master bloody marys, make calzones and highlander bowls, and watch trashy bravo tv shows together! Although Mary lives in Illinois, we still love to get together and act like we still live together.
Groomsman
Where to start when talking about this guy! Luis joined our friend group around 4th grade when he transferred to Pershing elementary school. I just remember how fast Luis was when he would run laps around us in gym class. (Remember, Corey, Josh, and I were in the Two Tons of Fun group…we weren’t the skinniest kids haha). Luis and I remained friends all the way through high school, but it was after high school when we became closer. Luis is a very hard worker and I admire him deeply for everything he has accomplished so far in his life. Luis is always down to help out anyone, he just might not show up on time. haha
Bridesmaid
Ashley and I met in nursing school where we faced the challenges of making it through, but somehow this girl always managed to make it a fun time. Whether it is friendsgiving, dancing in the living room to mama mia, or sitting at a beer garden and chatting, Ashley is a steadfast friend that I know I can always count on. Our friendship has continued to grow stronger after school and even though Ashley has her hands full with her new baby, she always takes the time to check in and just say hi. Ashley is a fun loving soul that I am so happy to have by my side on my wedding day!
Groomsman
Lucas and I have been friends since 7th grade. One of my favorite memories with Lucas is when we were both linebackers on the freshman football team. We had this scrimmage against Marquette HS and I swear Lucas and I were the largest guys on the field that day besides the other teams’ center and I’m pretty sure we made just about every tackle or sack that game! I’m very proud of Lucas and the man he is today. Lucas was the first one in our group of friends to get married, buy a house, and become a father to his two beautiful daughters! Lucas is a hard worker and I’m happy to have him standing up with me!
Bridesmaid
Sarah and I met on Halloween when I was 5 and she was 7. We grew up on the same street and quickly became best friends! We did everything together from making the haystack hideout, to riding the go cart, to traveling up to Washington Island with our Dads. Being 2 years older, I have always looked up to Sarah. For instance, Sarah painted her room blue, so I painted my room blue. Now that we are older, I am lucky to have someone so kind hearted and genuine to look up to. Even though Sarah has been married for a while now and has 4 children, we still manage to find time for one another and that sisterly bond is always there! Every time we get together, it is as if no time has passed. I treasure her friendship dearly and am so happy she is standing by my side on my wedding day.
Groomsman
Joey and I have known each other since about 4th or 5th grade. We didn’t go to the same school, but we met in our local youth wrestling club and we also played youth football together from 6-8th grade. Joey and I were always good friends and we became close friends our senior year of HS and when we got our first summer jobs after graduating. We worked a lot that summer at Poblocki Paving and boy, did we have a good time. I felt like we were the only ones with jobs that summer and everyone was always waiting for us to get off so we could all head to the beach or to our favorite little hangout called Robkirks…I’ll explain that later! Joey is another very hard worker and we have a lot of good laughs together. He is the kind of guy that I always know will have my back no matter what and I’m honored he is standing up with me!
Bridesmaid
Rachel and I met before we were born..... No, really! Our parents were in the same birthing class when they were pregnant with us. Being born 3 days apart, we are sometimes referred to as the "womb mates" and now I have a built in birthday buddy! Rachel and I grew up playing softball together and thank God, we were always on the same team because Rachel threw a mean fastball. Rachel and I reconnected after both moving back home after college, when the floors we worked on merged into one at the hospital. We were on the Covid unit together and ever since then, we have picked up our relationship like no time has passed at all. We love to get together, cook a nice dinner, drink wine, and let the dogs play. I know that I could go months without talking to Rach and that she will always be there to pick up where we left off!
Groomsman
I have known Rob since 7th grade. Rob was the owner of the famous “Robkirks” house where we spent a lot of our time in the summers. We have so many fond memories and stories from that place. From the day we started clearing the place up and painting all the walls so he and Lucas could move in, to the end of summer parties! It was a good ol’ time and you could probably write a movie about it. Rob has always been a great friend and someone I know I can always count on. I’m proud of all his hard work and dedication he's put into his education and career and I’m honored to have him standing up with me!
Bridesmaid
Lauren is one of my best friends from nursing school. Lauren and I met when we were 23 and have shared very similar paths in life even though we didn't meet until we were adults. Lauren and I love to cook together, drink wine, and watch bravo. We also love to get the naughty boys together (Butte and Obi)! Throughout the years, Lauren and I have grown closer through all the ups and downs that life has brought us and I am so happy that she now lives in Grafton and is only 3 minutes away. I know I can always stop over in my pajamas if I need some girl time and that Lauren is always down. Lauren is a loyal friend that I know I can depend on for just about anything. I am so happy to have her by my side on my wedding day.
Groomsman
I have known Dylan for the shortest amount of time, but with living only 3 minutes away and owning two golden retrievers himself, we have spent a lot of time hanging out. We bonded over golfing, while the girls watch Southern Charm and often learn from one another from the many DIY projects we have done on our homes. When I hang out with Dylan, I know it’ll always be a fun time and I’m happy that he is standing up on my wedding day.
