Maid of Honor
She's my younger sister but someone I look up to spiritually. Words to describe Emmie: sensitive, driven, purposeful, huge-hearted. She laughs at (most) my jokes, even when she really doesn't want to, and she makes me Kraft Mac n Cheese.
Best Man
Dave is the best friend I could've ever asked for. He's as loyal and funny as they come. He's intelligent and insightful and one person I could spend time with doing absolutely nothing and I would--and have--enjoyed every minute of it. A brother in every way except blood.
Bridesmaid
We were both Alpha Phis at OU, although Natalie was admittedly scared of me until our senior year, when we became close. Go to Natalie if you need a prayer, a hype man, or help with organization/event planning (phew thank God for my wedding's sake).
Groomsman
Fully and I met in college. If I had to go to battle and could only pick one friend, it's Fully. He always has your back and is the definition of a ride or die friend. Living in a one bedroom apt. together in DC was one hell of a ride. 10/10 roommate, would recommend.
Bridesmaid
We've known each other since middle school. Katlyn is the biggest lover I know (she cried when she met Jacob for the first time). Hanging out with her is scary- an hour-long happy hour can turn to 4 days crashing on her couch because you don't wanna leave.
Groomsman
Jose and I met in high school and I am thankful that we did. He is a loyal friend who doubles as the best hype man in the game. I value his friendship and positive outlook; he's always there to pick you up when you need it.
Bridesmaid
Dani was my sorority sister/roommate for several years at OU. During a time of a ton of change and shifting friendships/relationships, we helped keep each other sane, and we have remained close ever since, despite living far away.
Groomsman
Brian and I met in high school and quickly became friends. A bonus to being with Allie was her and Brians great friendship, which to our benefit has allowed us to pick right up where we left off...which was basically just making stupid jokes 24/7.
Bridesmaid
Meli and I became fast friends when she began dating her husband, Brian (a bff of mine since middle school). She is laid back and fun-loving, and she's always DTB (Down To Brunch). You probably don't know how charming Missouri accents are unless you've met her!
Groomsman
Jenks and I met in college, however I'm not sure he even needed to go. Jenks is the smartest person I know and one of the kindest as well. He values good friends, conversations, and has an infatuation with sports teams no one likes.
Bridesmaid
Blake was also a sorority sister and roommate at OU. We quickly bonded over our love of dance parties while we were studying, watching tv, and anywhere else you can think of. She is also my dog Scooter's appointed godmother.
Groomsman
Bob and I met in college. I'm thankful for his ability to shift from my voice of reason to my friend and back again. He has quite literally never met a stranger, is as friendly as they come, and gives great tours of NYC and New England alike.
Bridesmaid
We met at cheer camp in 7th grade. Morgen would drop everything in a second to be there for me if I needed her. She is instant best friends with every single person she meets- especially moms and babies.
Groomsman
Obi and I met in school, and he and his family have become family; I am thankful for all of them. Obi is as likely to get us in trouble as out of it, so if Addison is the CPA of the group, then Obi is the great negotiator.
Bridesmaid
We have known each other since 1st grade. Brittany was the first person to know of Jacob's proposal plans due to her relentless questioning. We talk on the phone several times a week- anyone who knows how much I hate phone calls knows that's a huge deal.
Groomsman
Abo and I met in college. He is a thoughtful friend and values those close to him. He is ready and willing to tailgate any sports event, plan a trip, or just have a good talk. Plus, I'm pretty sure every friend group requires a CPA.
Bridesmaid
We met in 5th grade through dance and she was my roommate for two years after college. Morgan and I created our own languages and new holidays when we lived together- these are the bonds that last forever.
Groomsman
Sully and I met on our dorm floor. There is no way I would have survived college without him. Sully is a great friend who I credit as being the first in our friend group to regularly drink Michelob Ultra. He got old before the rest of us I guess.
Bridesmaid
We also met at cheer camp in middle school. Amanda is the voice of reason within our friend group. She is a determined, BA boss lady, and she pushes us all to be better versions of ourselves through advice and encouragement.
Groomsman
Mike and I met in elementary school. He's the hardest working person there is and is there for the people that matter to him. He's gone from touring with a country band to deploying to the middle east, and he definitely cracked everyone up along the way.
