The Machine Shop is located in the historic St. Anthony Main area of Northeast Minneapolis. There’s plenty of metered street parking nearby, as well as public ramps within a 2–5 minute walk (like the St. Anthony Falls Ramp and Riverplace Ramp). We recommend arriving a few minutes early if you plan to park on the street, especially with weekend events in the area. Uber and Lyft are great options and there’s a convenient drop-off zone right near the front entrance.
We recommend arriving between 4:00 and 4:15 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM, and we’d love for you to be settled and ready to celebrate with us.
Yes. The Machine Shop is ADA accessible with ramps, elevators, and accessible restrooms. If you have specific mobility needs, feel free to reach out so we can make sure you’re comfortable.
It’s basically cocktail attire with a fun, spring-inspired twist. Since our wedding is indoors, we’re bringing a bit of the season inside, so feel free to wear something that feels dressed-up but still fresh and comfortable. For Women: Dresses, jumpsuits, or nice separates in light fabrics. Florals, pastels, and soft colors like blush, periwinkle, or sage all work great. Heels, dressy flats, or block sandals are perfect. No grass to worry about! For Men: Suits or dress pants with a jacket. Ties are totally optional. Lighter colors or subtle patterns are welcome if you want to mix it up from the usual black and navy. For Everyone: Just think spring-y, festive, and ready to celebrate. No need for black tie, just skip super casual stuff like jeans or sneakers, and you’ll be good to go.
