There is also a visitors center and surrounding trails like the Trading Post Trail for more beautiful views of Colorado. How to Get There Red Rocks Amphitheatre is about 13 minutes from The Sheraton in West Denver, making it an easy drive. Take I-70 West to exit 259, then follow signs for the park. Entry & Costs Visiting the Amphitheatre: Free to the public when there are no events. Parking: Also free, with multiple lots available near the venue and trails.
Dive into Colorado’s Wild West history with a visit to the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave! It is located atop Lookout Mountain, and has breathtaking views, we had a great time there! Museum Entry: Adults $5, Seniors $4, Children (6-15) $1, and kids under 6 are free. How to Get There: The Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave is just 25 miles (about 20 minutes) from The Sheraton in West Denver. To get there, take I-70 west to exit 256. Turn right at the top of the ramp, then make an immediate left. Follow this to South Lookout Mountain Road, turn right, and travel approximately four miles.

Just Approximately 1.5 hours from Denver, this stunning park features snow-capped peaks, alpine lakes, scenic drives, and incredible wildlife. Drive the famous Trail Ridge Road, hike to Bear Lake, or spot elk in Moraine Park. Reservations may be required—check ahead!

If you’re up for a scenic drive with breathtaking mountain views, we highly recommend Loveland Pass! This Continental Divide crossing sits at 11,990 feet, offering panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains. This spot is extra special to us because we took our engagement photos here!
