FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 1st using the mail-in card included with your invitation.

Question

Can I bring a date or Plus-One?

Answer

Due to limited space and to ensure everyone invited can be comfortably accommodated, the invitation is extended only to the guests named on the invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but to give everyone a chance to relax and enjoy the evening, we kindly ask that children not attend the wedding. Everyone who is invited is listed on the invitation. We want to give you a night to have fun and celebrate with us! Thank you so much for understanding.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding dress code is cocktail attire. For men, semiformal typically means dress slacks paired with a button-down shirt, with an optional sport coat or blazer. For women, options include cocktail dresses or elegant skirts with blouses. Heels, dressy flats, or sandals are all great choices, as all celebrations will be indoors. We’re excited to see everyone dressed up and ready to celebrate with us!

Question

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to the Mitchell Residence at 7606 Sweetgum Drive, Irving, TX 75063. Also, a wedding card box will be at our reception.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

You can find our complete wedding registry right here on our website under the “Registry” tab, where you can conveniently purchase directly from our wish list. We also have a honeymoon cash fund and a newlywed cash fund for those who prefer that option. Thank you so much for your love and support!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 PM. We kindly ask guests to arrive by 5:30 PM to allow time for parking and getting settled before we start.

Question

What's the schedule of events?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 6:00 PM, followed by a cocktail hour from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Dinner will be served at 8:00 PM, and we’ll wrap up the celebration with a grand exit at 11:00 PM.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We’ve arranged a hotel block with special rates, which you can find in the “Room Block” section of our website. Staying there is completely optional, but we recommend it for your convenience.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Parking will be available at the venue for your convenience.

Question

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

We’re so excited to share our special day with you all! To keep the moment personal and meaningful, we kindly ask that you hold off on posting any photos on social media. We plan to make a formal announcement using our professional photos, and we appreciate your understanding and support in helping us celebrate this way.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests refrain from using phones or cameras during the ceremony to keep the moment intimate and special. No pictures during the ceremony, please. However, feel free to capture and share memories during the rest of the celebration! We can’t wait to see all your joyful photos afterward.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All parts of the celebration will be held indoors, so you can dress comfortably and not worry about the weather.

Question

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know on your RSVP card or reach out to us directly. We will be happy to accommodate your needs and make sure you have an enjoyable dining experience.

Question

How did you meet each other? When did you start dating and when did you get engaged?

Answer

We met in 4th grade at McCoy Elementary School and have been close friends ever since. Growing up, we were always part of the same friend group and even dated for a month in 6th grade. We started dating on July 19, 2021, and by the time we say “I do,” we’ll have shared five incredible years together! We got engaged on May 31, 2025, in the beautiful city of Lucerne, Switzerland, making the moment even more unforgettable.
