Jaclyn and Jeff’s story started on the fields of Bret Hart Middle School. Two kids in 6th grade PE class who never spoke to each other but always battled for the best mile time. Who ended up with the better time? We’ll leave that up for you to guess. Then two years later, in 8th grade Social Studies, they ended up at the same rowdy table in the back of the classroom. Jeff witnessed Jaclyn’s goofy side and noticed she always volunteered to read for the class. And Jaclyn learned Jeff was a great listener and an all around nice guy. And at the end of the school year, Jaclyn wanted to continue her relationship with this nice guy and left her phone number in Jeff’s yearbook as they parted for different high schools. To Jaclyn’s delight, Jeff did call her throughout their high school years, and even attended Prom together. Continuing to kindle the flame they had for each other. But, they found their distance was about to get even greater as Jeff left for Arizona State University while Jaclyn attended San Jose State University. During their early college years, they would see each other on winter breaks and summer vacations from time to time. Always as friends, or so one of them thought. But when college was coming to an end, they found they hadn't talked to the other for quite some time, even though neither of them had forgotten about the other. Then fate stepped in and dealt them a sweet hand. Bryan, Brent, Lauren, and Tony (Jaclyn’s brothers and cousins) drove to Los Angeles for a Warriors vs Clippers game and made it on TV. And Jeff, the die hard Warriors fan he is, of course was watching and saw a 5 second clip of Jaclyn’s family. So who did he message? Jaclyn. And it just so happened he was going to be coming back to San Jose after college, so their flame was ignited once again. Except this time around, they were not just hanging out in friend groups, but alone on, dare I say, a date? Making Jaclyn think this isn’t just a friendship we have here, but maybe something more. Which they both had secretly wanted for quite some time. And this thought was solidified with a kiss in the car after one of these outings. And you all know the rest. Have dated for for over 7 years, got engaged in beautiful Tahoe, and now about to be wed and continue with their never-ending love story. Always remaining unforgettable to one another.
