Question

How will the Covid-19 pandemic affect the wedding?

Answer

Our love is the most important thing about our wedding and we have that no matter what! We’ve decided to proceed with a modified intimate ceremony limited to only immediate family and select friends of honor. We're sad we can no longer host everyone safely amongst the current health risk, but we hope to celebrate with you all for a one year anniversary gathering!

Question

I’m bummed I can’t join. What can I do to celebrate your nuptials from afar?

Answer

We’re bummed too and your absence will be felt! We would love to see your faces and hear a message from you on our day! Please send us a video of a quick toast to us at benandjaclyn2020@gmail.com and a friend of ours will create a video for us to watch at our celebration. And if you would still like to give us a gift please consider donating to our House Fund on our registry.

Question

How will I know whether I’m still invited or not?

Answer

Everyone who received a save the date will be notified via mail of their invitation status.

Question

I have a food allergy/special diet can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! Please tell us your food allergies on your RSVP and we will happily make accommodations for you. Jaclyn is allergic to gluten, corn, soy, dairy and mushrooms so we are very understanding and happy to accommodate any dietary needs. Our entire menu will be gluten free. Our dinner buffet will have a vegan option, pescatarian option, and chicken for the omnivores.

Question

Can I bring a friend or a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Where will the ceremony and reception be held?

Answer

We are very pleased to host our wedding ceremony and reception in one place at the Montague Retreat Center (177 Ripley Road Montague, MA 01351) in the beautiful hills of central MA. It will be an outdoor ceremony in their upper field*. Be sure to wear shoes for walking on grass. We invite guests to parade down the hill with us to let the festivities begin below! (Car shuttle will be available for those that need it) Dinner will be held under a tent on the outdoor stone patio. Dessert and dancing will be held inside the geothermally cooled barn. *In the event of inclement weather the ceremony will be held inside the barn.

Question

Is their guest parking? Is it free?

Answer

Yes! There is a lot with free parking behind the upper field a short walk from the ceremony site. There will also be a shuttle bus from the hotels we booked blocks at if you'd rather park at the hotel and ride with our DD Bus driver.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Yes we have reserved hotel blocks at the Hampton Inn & Suites and the Days Inn in Greenfield. Find the hotel details in the "Choose your stay" section of the website. Be sure to ask for the Wood/Warren Wedding group and book before 7/20/2020 to get a room in our block. We will provide transportation from these hotels to the ceremony/reception venue. You are also welcome to find a local airbnb or bed & breakfast and transport yourself if you prefer.
