Maid of Honor
Paige and Emily initially met in 1998 at Mulberry Tree Preschool! Growing up in the same community, they knew of each other but didn’t become close until 2004 when they started dancing together at a local studio. From their middle school days until now, Paige and Emily have shared countless memories including having hamster siblings in preschool, dancing on cruise ships in the Mediterranean, and TP-ing those who wronged them. Now 24 years since their Pre-K days, Emily is so honored to be by Paige & Jack’s side as they say “I do” to forever together!
Best Man
Austin and Jack met as freshmen in college while joining the same Fraternity, Fiji, at the University of Michigan in 2013. Austin is the reason Jack got to shake the hand of his favorite NBA player, Manu Ginobili, after a game against the Pistons at the Palace. Austin and his family would host Jack during Thanksgiving breaks and treat him like family. Likewise, Austin has always been a favorite for Jack's family and Paige .
Bridesmaid
Paige and Emilie met in an LA-themed class at LMU, over a steaming plate of collard greens. Both found the other to be a little too chatty and a little too annoying. As fate would have it, they both joined the same sorority sophomore year & selected the study abroad program in Bonn, Germany. Their love blossomed during that glorious semester in Beethoven’s hometown. Particularly when Emilie included Paige in a hotel room she booked for a weekend in Ireland. They drank. They danced. They almost missed their flight, but they didn’t. Post college their love has gone long distance, but Paige and Emilie have worked hard at staying connected. Using vacation days to meet up, sending voice notes to celebrate the big wins, and walk with each other through the lows. Most recently they enjoyed a few days in the NY jewelry district, being pulled into tiny back rooms and handed loose diamonds in order to build the perfect ring. And now it lays delicately on Paige’s finger.
Groomsman
Harry and Jack met in 2013 as freshmen in college while joining Fiji. While home in the Bay for college breaks they would visit each other's hometowns, getting to know the other's family and childhood friends. They shared a similar outlook on basketball, playing pick-up together and discussing podcasts. The two would often avoid parties by playing chess games (almost exclusively won by Harry). The two have remained close despite living on opposite sides of the country and sharing an inability to respond to text messages in a timely manner.
Bridesmaid
Paige and Sam met in their home-room class the first day of 6th grade, but really became close in high school, bonding over their love for TPing and chocolate ganache. They went on to be roommates together in their freshman year at Loyola Marymount University where they adopted a beautiful goldfish they named Catdog. Today, Paige and Sam are closer than ever and are truly rocks for each other. Sam could not be more thankful for her friendship with Paige, and is ecstatic to stand beside her as she marries her soul mate, Jack!
Groomsman
Jordan and Jack first became close while playing 3 years of high school basketball together. Their shared interests later expanding into golf, cycling, chess, cooking, and more. The two have frequently gone on trips to Tahoe together, and plan to bike the perimeter of the lake in the near future. Jordan has been close to Paige for a long time as well, largely due to the friendship between their older brothers and his fondness for her Mom's red velvet cupcakes.
Bridesmaid
Who knew when Paige and Sarah met they were destined to be sisters for life? They initially became close over giggling through silly sorority antics and went on to conquer (aka eat through) many European cities as well as live together in a giant bedroom. From dancing all night, to forcing taxis to stop for churros, to reveling in their cat children, Sarah and Paige have forged a bond for life. Sarah could not be more grateful for a friendship that spans timezones and cannot wait to celebrate the love between Paige and Jack!
Groomsman
John and Jack have been close friends since middle school in 2008. The two grew up together primarily through basketball, including playing together all 4 years of high school. Outside of school and basketball, the two spent a lot of free time together - pool games, golf, video games, NBC shows like Community and The Office. John actually knew Paige even longer (having attended the same schools K-12) and remained a close friend to both through college and working-life after graduating.
Bridesmaid
Paige and Marie met the day before high school began when their senior buddies took them to ice cream and Paige was not-so-subtly texting Jack under the table the whole time. The REAL friendship began as high school seniors in Mr. Verbanzsky's class when Paige and Marie ran a presidential campaign as President & Vice President, respectively. What became a long-distance best friendship grew into a sisterhood through countless visits to each other, duo traveling adventures, and of course.. all the countless hours of heart to hearts, belly laughs, food pics, and yes: the occasional TP. Marie is honored to stand beside Paige as she ties the knot with her soulmate, Jack!
Groomsman
Jacob and Jack met as freshmen in college while joining Fiji. Outside of pledge duties, they shared interests (and classes) related to computer science. They became close with each other's Dads when they would visit in college. As Jacob has taken advantage of digital nomadism in recent years, the two have been able to spend time in various parts of the country, and hope to continue to do so.
