Mother of the Bride

Where do we even begin? She’s my mom, the life of the (kid) party, and the woman we lovingly call “Krazy Kaye” (don’t worry it’s a compliment!). Granny Kaye is not your typical grandma she’s has jokes, stories, and a personality big enough to fill the whole dance floor. Our nieces and nephews will 100% be telling hilarious stories about her for years, and honestly, so will we. She’s the one we call when life gets real and somehow, she always shows up with wisdom but little humor too.

Father of the Bride

My dad has always been one of my greatest sources of love. Growing up with all brothers, he made sure I was never without affection and always treated me like his little princess. Even now, I'll proudly admit I'm still a daddy's girl. Through his love, he's shown me exactly what a man should be: kind, protective, hardworking, selfless and strong. To me he is a gentle giant, the first man I ever loved, and the one who set the standard for what unconditional love looks like. Having my dad by my side to walk me down the aisle is the greatest honor, especially because everyone says I'm his "twin in a wig”.Lol

Meet our incredible nephew Astin who is the youngest of his 3 older sisters, and one of the mini stars in our wedding. He is exceptionally advanced and has a true love for learning that amazes everyone around him. When he's not discovering something new, you'll find him out on the soccer field, burning energy with his signature enthusiasm.

Flower Girl

This flower girl is our beautiful niece Endi who we were so lucky to love in her time here. Though her time with us was far too short, she touched every heart she met with her light, her laughter, and her incredible spirit. She will always be a part of our family, our wedding, and our lives. We love her, we miss her deeply, and we will forever honor her.

Flower Girl

Meet our fabulous flower girl who is our amazing niece, before and after we said, “I do”! Ahdi is a majorette dancer, incredibly clever, and somehow manages to be the best big sister and little sister all at once. She’ll be dancing her way down the aisle sprinkling petals, and maybe even steal the show with her sparkle.

It’s hard to believe that the tiny baby I’ve watched grow since day one is now standing with me on my wedding day. As the older of the twins, our niece Jaiya has always been beyond her time, innovative, and unbelievably creative. From playing flag football, doing her own makeup/nails to dreaming big beyond her years, she continues to amaze me. She has a heart of gold and a sweetness that touches everyone she meets.

Our niece Lai’Lanii went from crawling across the living room floor to almost cruising behind the wheel . How is Lai’Lanii already this grown?! She’s not just growing up fast, she’s leveling up. A total powerhouse on the soccer field and one of the smartest young minds we know, Lai’Lanii is the perfect mix of brains, talent, and a little fire.

Imani is our amazing niece and the oldest of she and her sisters. At school she's blazing the down the track, then coming home to help run the house like a pro. As a proud big sis and part time second mom, she's always holding it down for her little sisters. When it comes to lashes, nails or dance? Imani is the undisputed go-to for all of the teenage girlies! She's smart, strong, full of love, and we're excited to see her blaze through life just not too fast.

Jailah {the younger twin} by mere minutes, but trust us, she runs with it like she’s the oldest and has that seniority for life. She’s the calm, cool, and collected one until you get on her bad side… then may the odds be ever in your favor . As a high school cheerleader and full-time fashionista, our niece is always serving looks and attitude in the best way. Honestly, she’s also the one we’d call for advice on just about anything with outfits, music, or even which emoji to use.

Yes, you read that right my big brother is my Mayne of Honor. Jerraud is not just my brother he's my partner in crime, and my childhood confidant. There were no questions about who I wanted standing by my side on my special day. As the Mayne'tron of Honor, he brings not only support and humor, but also the kind of love and loyalty only a sibling can offer. Get ready because he's coming with style, spirit, and maybe a few tears (of joy, of course).

If you hear uncontrollable laughter, someone giving a heartfelt toast, or see a perfectly packed emergency bridal kit including allergy meds, snacks, tissues, and a Tide pen it's probably Che'. As my favorite big cousin, she's been by my side through every awkward moment, teenage phase, and of course those things we no longer talk about. She is not just my Matron of honor she is my CEO of this wedding operation, emotional support coordinator, and my personal hype woman! Che'quitaaaaa!

Da'Neisha Phillips

Da'Neisha is not just my friend, but my sister from another mister and I love her to the moon. Whether we're laughing until we cry, or having a gworls brunch date she's the kind of person that brings the energy wherever she goes. She's sweet, loving, has the biggest heart, but don't let that fool you. She's also the first person to roll out if something goes down. You need backup? She's already in the car on her way with a plan. The perfect mixture of loyalty and love which makes her so special!

There are friends, there is family, and then there are the rare few who are both. Monique is just not the amazing mom to my beautiful twin nieces, but the sister my heart chose long before the wedding. She's been there for major moments, holding space, giving strength, and sharing endless laughter. Her support has never ceased, and has helped shape who I am. She's been walking with me since the beginning, and now it's time to walk with me down the aisle.

Tammi is not only my bridesmaid, but she doubles as my sister-in-law. She's been part of the family long before I officially joined it, so I'm grateful to have her on this magical journey with me. Our husbands are brothers (with my brother being friends of both) so I've known her for quite some time. While we haven't spent a lot of one on one time together one thing that has stood out is her fun/outgoing personality, and her ability to bring good energy wherever she goes which is why I am happy to have her join me on my special day! Whether she's mastering the music industry, being a superwoman "girl mom", or navigating the chaos in life she's doing it in style. Throughout the stress & strife she’s just living the Jooglife!

Sheena is my cousin and big sister in one. We grew up side by side, sharing everything from family holidays to late night giggles, March birthdays, and childhood chaos (like the time we locked ourselves in the bathroom running from Jerraud). LOL She used to babysit us over the summer while our moms worked, and she has been a constant presence through my life. It's only right that she's on my side celebrating this day as she has always been.

I met Lisa years ago at work back when we were both pretending to be professional. Somewhere down the line went from work friends to real friends to family. She's my outspoken, tell-it-like-it-is, no filter friend the one that will hype you up and call you out in the same sentence. You can always count on her to keep it real sometimes a little too real, but that's exactly why I love her! She's the kind of friend who shows up, speaks up, and makes every room a little louder and a lot better.

Though Jenny is not here with us in person today, her love and spirit will fill our special day in every way. Jennifer (Jenny) was more than a friend; she was my sister, beautiful mother, and one of the kindest souls I've ever known. There is no doubt that she would have stood right by my side as a bridesmaid, dancing, laughing and celebrating this moment with us. Her light continues to shine through my niece & nephew, her family, and all the lives she touched. We honor her not with sadness, but with gratitude for the memories, the love and the unbreakable bond that distance can never fade. Forever in our hearts, Jenny our bridesmaid, sister and angel.

Our niece Jai is the youngest of three sisters, but somehow still acts like she everyone's boss including her baby brother. Wise like a grandmother, energetic like she runs on espresso, and full of enough personality to start in her own TV show! An academic overachiever, a spunky cheerleader, and she keeps us all laughing, impressed, and a tiny bit exhausted.

Best Man

If there’s one person who’s always had my back, it’s our brother Curtis. He calls me his twin, and you can feel that vibe in everything we do together. Hustle? That’s his middle name. He’s the ultimate girl dad, full of love, and his leadership isn’t loud it’s magnetic. Curtis, the Joog Life CEO always on the grind, always in the flow. He’s holding it down as the best man in our wedding, and I love him more than I can even say.
