One of Raleigh's longest standing BBQ joints famous for their pulled pork sandwiches. Other fantastic and famous BBQ places to try: Sam Jones, The Pit, and Longleaf Swine!
Known as the second world's largest collection of beer on tap (they were the first until they opened a location in Charlotte), Raleigh Beer Garden was a go to place for Jackson and Deirdre (and Gibson) try new brews and start the night off in the vibrant nightlife district of Glenwood Avenue
Located next to Videri Chocolate Factory (a very delicious dessert place), Crank Arm is a cyclist themed brewery with great stouts!
The best brews in Raleigh, Cup of Joe is an eclectic coffee shop located across the street from Deirdre and Jackson's (and Gibson's!) college apartments and was a choice place for them to study and grab beverages before exams.
Right next to the venue and a great morning-after joint, Big Eds serves up some of the best southern home cooking in Raleigh, NC. North Carolinians love the country ham with red eye gravy as well as the hot cakes (they're giant!) and biscuits with sausage gravy.
