We first met over dinner with mutual friends. It was a lovely evening where sparks quietly flickered, but timing had other plans. Taylor was moving to Georgia and in a relationship, so our connection remained a fleeting moment... for the time being. Fast forward two and a half years, and fate stepped back in. We reconnected on Hinge and shared a first date that was equal parts charming and chaotic (Taylor may or may not have spilled a margarita). From that point on, things just clicked. Conversation flowed easily, laughter came often, and time together quickly became the highlight of every day. The moment we truly fell in love came during a trip to Paris to celebrate Taylor’s birthday. It was a week of long flights, busy days, a 3 hour Taylor Swift concert, and endless sightseeing. It was, somehow, all effortless. We realized that if we could travel that far, for that long, and enjoy every second of it together, we could take on anything life brings. Months later, Taylor surprised Jackson with a birthday trip to his alma mater, UNC Chapel Hill. What she didn’t know was that Jackson had a surprise of his own.. a proposal at the historic Old Well, on his birthday. A beautiful moment in a place close to his heart, and the perfect start to our next chapter. We are so excited to celebrate this journey with the people we love most.
