Take the plunge into the two open-air natural mineral hot springs pools. Guests soak, swim, play and relax in the chemical-free, geothermally heated pools every day of the year. Watch the sun rise over the Absaroka Mountains or gaze into the night sky while soaking in soothing waters. Upon arriving, you can receive a daily wristband for access. The pool area has access to a swim-up bar and small restaurant.
Located on the hillside west of the historic main lodge, a five mile loop trail is accessible within minutes via a short walk or drive to the trailhead. Sitting at approximately 5,400 feet elevation, the trail system offers unparalleled views of Paradise Valley. Vistas in four directions include the Gallatin Range to the west, soaring Emigrant Peak to the south, the Absaroka Mountains to the east, and on the clearest day the Crazy Mountains to the far north.
This traditional Western Saloon overlooks the hot springs pool and features signature drinks, video poker and keno machines, shuffleboard, and televisions.
Chico Hot Springs offers an 18-hole disc golf course on our private “Ranch 635” land. The course features Dynamic “Veteran” baskets and Fly18 tee pads. Sporting uphill, downhill, blind, long and short holes, this course is situated at the base of Emigrant Peak.

Perfect for beginners to hobby artists, this two hour instructed class will give you a chance to really take in Chico’s beautiful landscape, and to create your very own artistic souvenir. All materials will be supplied, as will friendly instruction that makes it easy and fun to create your own masterpiece.
5-10 minutes away from the resort you can find restaurants, bars, gift shops, groceries, and gas in Emigrant.
About a half hour down the highway is the town of Livingston, Montana. It is an eclectic quaint town with many restaurants, shops, etc.
