All of our wedding festivities will be held here at the Bajamar! The Bajamar property offers a 27-hole golf course, swimming pool, restaurant & bar, volleyball court, tennis courts, soccer field and playground along with a lovely panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. For the night of July 20th, only wedding attendees will be permitted to stay at the hotel. Group Shuttle - From San Diego to the Bajamar and back!

Leaving San Diego Airport at 6:30pm on Friday (7/19/19) Returning to SD from the Bajamar at 8am on Monday (7/22/29) Please contact us if you would like us to save you a seat! (Please arrange flights accordingly....expect to arrive in San Diego between noon and 1pm on Monday)

Traveling by Car

The Bajamar is approximately 50 miles (1 hour drive) from the San Diego-Mexico border. If traveling by car from San Diego you can take highway 1D toward Ensenada. This highway is a well kept toll road that runs along the pacific coast. Each toll booth is equipped with restrooms. Those driving will cross 2 toll booths, each approx. $2. *Note: Be sure to get MEXICAN AUTO INSURANCE before leaving the US. The Mexican government does not recognize policies written by American Insurance companies, even if that policy has "Mexican" coverage. THE RETURN: *The Bajamar provides guests with "Fast Track" passes for crossing the border on the return to the US* PLEASE ANTICIPATE SPENDING AROUND 2 HOURS AT THE BORDER WHEN CROSSING BACK INTO THE USA. *Please feel free to contact Olivia or the Cerna family with questions in regards to this commute. They have done this drive many times over the years.*

Be sure that your rental company allows for you to take the car to Mexico. They will require you to buy Mexican auto insurance. There are several companies located at or near the San Diego airport that advertise car rental options that allow for renters to cross the border.

Flight

San Diego International Airport

For those traveling from other states this airport is likely the most convenient for travel. San Diego Airport is approx. 2 miles from the border. Please see above for information about the group shuttle.

Flight

Tijuana Airport

This airport is accustomed to receiving travelers on their way to Ensenada. Many shuttles and taxis who make regular trips into Ensenada are waiting outside of the airport. Please contact us if you are interested in joining the group transportation leaving the airport at 1 PM on FRIDAY 7/19/19.
