Our story began with a match on the LDS dating app and a first date that, funny enough, never actually happened. With Nyliam heading home for the semester, neither of us expected it to turn into much. But what started as a simple connection quickly grew into something special, and before we knew it, we were doing long distance for five months. Late-night conversations, laughter, and countless hours playing video games together became our favorite way to spend time, and a big part of how we fell in love. The first time we met in person was at the airport, where she picked him up to join her family on a cruise. Meeting for the very first time and immediately going on a cruise might sound a little crazy, but it turned out to be perfect. That very night, we had our first official date at Disney Springs, and it truly felt magical. After the cruise, distance was no longer part of our story. We’ve been together in person ever since, and our relationship has continued to grow and flourish with each passing month. This holiday season, Jack proposed in a hot-air balloon, followed by a breathtaking high-ride adventure across New Mexico, an unforgettable moment we’ll treasure forever. We are beyond excited to spend the rest of our lives together and feel so grateful for the love and support of our friends and family. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with you all!
