Another alternative option about a ~10 minute drive away. There are rooms and cabins available for rent.

Flight

Nashville International Airport (BNA)

Sewanee is just over 80 miles from Nashville International Airport (BNA). BNA will have the most options for flights and car rentals. From BNA Airport, drivers will need to take Interstate 24-E towards Chattanooga. Exit 134 in Monteagle, TN will be the best exit to take for the University. Turn left onto Hwy. 41A West for around 3.9 miles, and turn right onto University Avenue.

Flight

Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (CHA)

Chattanooga Metroplitan Airport (CHA) is the approximately one hour away from Sewanee, depending on traffic. From CHA, take I-75 South toward Chattanooga for 2.6 miles. At Exit 2, follow the signs for I-24 West toward Birmingham. Follow the signs for Nashville and take Exit 134 in Monteagle. Turn left onto Hwy. 41A West for approximately 3.9 miles and turn right onto University Avenue.

Groome Transporation Shuttle

Groome Transportation provides quick, convenient shuttle service from Nashville International Airport (BNA) and Chattanooga Airport (CHA) to Monteagle, TN (6 miles from Sewanee). Groome drops passengers off in Monteagle at the Smoke House Lodge. Please note that travelers will need to coordinate their own transportation from the Smoke House Lodge to their lodging in Sewanee.
