Jackson and Kimberlee met at Southern Arkansas University in 2018. Jackson and Kimberlee were both enrolled in the Mulerider Marching Band. Before they started dating, they ran into each other a few times in the band hall, band events, and a couple of times in the cafeteria. The bride and groom began dating on November 27, 2018. The couple has been together for a little over six years!
Jackson and Kimberlee enjoy spending time with one another. They like to spend their time either at home watching movies/tv shows with their fur babies or out on the road exploring different areas of the world. The bride and groom share a passion for music. Music brought them together and continues to impact their relationship, today. They love going out to different states to see some of their favorite bands! Some bands they have seen recently include: Ghost, Guns N Roses, Journey, Toto, Def Leppard, Bad Omens, Amon Amarth, Ice Nine Kills, and SO much more!
Back in early 2023, Jackson pitched an idea for a friends trip. As the year began to come to a close, it seemed that the great idea for a friends trip was not feasible. Jackson and Kimberlee decided to still go on a cruise, but just themselves. After months of prep, saving, and paying off the cruise, it was time to go on the beautiful Carnival Liberty! The bride and groom arrived in New Orleans with excitement. They enjoyed Saturday walking through the city eating beignets, checking out the jazz museum, and much more. Sunday, it was time to board Carnival Liberty! There was so many fun things to do on the boat. As the week came along, the bride and groom enjoyed having a few drinks, hanging out on the Lido deck (specifically the 21 and up section), checking out the comedy club, and searching for ducks all over the ship. The couple enjoyed excursions such as: a beach day in Mahogany Bay, corral reef/sharks/rays snorkeling, and another beach day in Cozumel. Little did Kimberlee know, Jackson had a plan for the beach day in Cozumel. The couple enjoyed sunbathing and searching for shells. The bride and groom enjoyed a beach side massage as well! As the day began to come to a close, Kimberlee and Jackson decided to explore the beach one last time. They found a little alcove away from other beach-goers. Jackson asked "can you think of anything that would make this day more perfect?" Kimberlee stated that she couldn't think of anything. "I can. Let's take a picture! I'm going to set up my phone, and it will be a timed picture." Mind you, for anyone who knows Kimberlee, you know she is BLIND. She didn't have her glasses on; didn't have contacts in either. Instead of a picture, it was a video! Jackson dropped down on one knee, presenting the ring, and waited. Kimberlee turned around shocked and stated "no you're not!" Jackson then asked the question. From there they embraced; Kimberlee still crying tears of joy.
