Our wedding will take place on Thursday, September 25th at 4pm in the backyard of Sol’s Cliff House at 18 Sols Cliff Rd, Bar Harbor, ME 04609.
We’d love to have you stay at Sol’s Cliff House with us- we’ll have a room for you from Wednesday to Saturday morning so you don’t have to worry about booking other accommodations!
To help us with our planning, please RSVP to the events as soon as possible. The deadline is July 25th. If we don’t receive your RSVP by that date, one of us WILL track you down and get an answer ☺️ We need to provide our chef with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you understand.
Please text Hayley-Ann at (757) 769-1446 with your response. Please also let her know if you have any dietary allergies or restrictions and if you’ll be flying or driving in.
The easiest place is the Bangor International Airport (BGR). Please visit the "Travel" page for more info and other options.
Yes Emily and Devin, we know you said you're leaving them behind but your babies are 100% invited. Just let us know if you change your mind and end up wanting to bring them. If we don't know you have a kid, then congratulations(!), just call us.
The ceremony will be outside rain or shine. The dinner will also be outside, weather permitting. The welcome dinner on Wednesday will most likely be indoors.
Mark Twain said "if you don't like the weather in New England now, just wait a few minutes." That being said, the weather can often be unpredictable. But according to the past few years weather will likely be in the mid-50s and 60s and may drop a few degrees after the sun goes down at dinner.
The wedding attire is formal. Please wear dresses below the knee, midi, or maxi lengths. Suits or sport coats are great. They can be styled with or without a tie. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will be on hilly grass in the backyard so stiletto heels would dig into the ground. The welcome dinner attire is dressy casual. Please view the "Attire" page for more details and inspiration.
We won't have a bartender but the cooler is open. We'll have wine, beer, and liquor available to make your own drinks. If you want to let us know your drink of choice we can pick some up.
I'd highly recommend heading into Acadia National Park and checking out the cute town of Bar Harbor if you haven't by that point already. Check out the "Things to Do" page for specific activity/location suggestions.
Nope, your presence is the best gift we could ask for. And, we appreciate you making the trip all the way to Maine!
