He was chosen as Best Man not just for their history, but because Kevin is genuine, dependable, and carries himself with confidence. He’s also the life of the party — a mix of crazy energy and loyal friendship that everyone needs in their corner.

Abby, Cristina’s younger sister, has had a front-row seat to her life’s journey. She’s always looked up to Cristina while keeping her grounded along the way. Cristina treasures memories of choreographing kitchen dance routines together and countless rom-com marathons. Now in her final year of high school, Abby is blossoming into the incredible young woman Cristina always knew she would become, and Cristina couldn’t be prouder.
Zach Riley
Groomsman
Zach is another college football connection who became one of Jackson’s closest academic allies. The two survived engineering school together, tackling group projects and plenty of late-night study sessions — with Jackson often helping Zach through tough classes. Zach is a laid-back, go-with-the-flow kind of guy, and a gamer at heart. He’s known for his spontaneous noises, exaggerated facial reactions, and the ability to lighten up even the most stressful situations. He’s loyal, low-maintenance, and always brings a sense of calm (and weirdness) to the group.
Catalina Hernandez

Catalina—known as Cat—is the bride’s cousin and former college roommate at the University of Iowa, but more than that, she’s a sister at heart. Their bond grew stronger over countless coffee runs, shopping trips, and shared adventures—including an unforgettable girls’ trip to Guatemala. Cristina can’t imagine saying “I do” without Cat by her side.

Liam was more than a friend—he was family. He shared deep bonds with Jackson, Kevin, and Zach through years of playing football and living together as college roommates. The four of them were inseparable, their friendship built on laughter, loyalty, and countless shared memories. Liam’s absence is profoundly felt, and this day is not whole without him. As we celebrate our marriage, we also honor Liam’s life, his spirit, and the love he brought into ours. His memory will be carried with us in every moment of this celebration, and we take comfort in the promise that we will see him again in eternity.

Katie, Cristina’s best friend since middle school, has been by her side through every high and low. They grew up sharing endless laughs and unforgettable moments, then continued their adventures together at the University of Iowa. From visiting Katie in Ireland to bringing her along on a girls’ trip to Guatemala with Catalina, their memories span the globe. Cristina admires Katie’s brilliance and passion, and knows she’s destined to become an incredible genetic counselor.

Alex is one of Jackson’s best friends from high school. He’s the kind of person everyone gets along with — sincere, easy to talk to, and always down for a good conversation over a beer. Their friendship has stood the test of time, built on mutual trust, respect, and years of shared experiences. Alex is reliable, grounded, and the sort of friend who makes you feel at home just by being around. He’s been a constant presence in Jackson’s life, and his place in the wedding party is a reflection of that lifelong bond.

Sophia has been Cristina’s best friend since middle school, and their friendship is filled with unforgettable moments—from Cristina playing matchmaker to standing beside Sophia as a bridesmaid on her wedding day. Sophia holds a special place in Cristina’s heart, and the big day wouldn’t be complete without her. She’s now living life to the fullest as the most amazing mother to her adorable twin boys, Vincent and Luca.
Ben Carthey

Ben is Cristina’s younger brother and initially very reluctant about being in the wedding party. In fact, he tried to talk Cristina out of including him — but when Jackson personally asked, Ben gave in with a dramatic sigh and accepted. Despite the playful resistance, Ben is an important part of the day. His close relationship with Cristina and their sister Abby (Maid of Honor) made it clear this wedding had to be a full family affair. He brings heart, humor, and just the right amount of little-brother energy to the celebration.
Payton Shaw

Payton is Jackson’s older sister and longtime expert in keeping him humble. As a middle school art teacher, she wrangles chaos for a living—so growing up with Jackson was basically early career training. She’s sharp, sassy, and always ready with a one-liner that leaves you laughing (or slightly concerned). Payton’s been a huge supporter of Jackson and Cristina from the start, and we couldn’t imagine this day without her bold energy and unmatched ability to call it like it is.

Cristina is lucky to have an incredible circle of friends, and while the wedding party couldn’t include everyone, there were a few people who were far too important to leave out of the celebration. These ladies have been by her side through every chapter — from spontaneous coffee runs and deep heart-to-hearts, to late-night laughs and life’s biggest milestones. As personal attendants, they’ll be helping with all the behind-the-scenes magic on the big day and supporting Cristina in the way only true friends can. Their love, loyalty, and presence mean the world, and this day wouldn’t be complete without them close by.
