Guests do not have to purchase lift tickets, this is included with our rental Complementary rentals of skis & poles, snowboards, boots, and helmets will be available to all guests
Gore-tex, wool, fur, sequins, tutus... you catch our drift. Come in costume or just wear your everyday ski outfit. Do whatever is comfortable, fun, and festive for you We are hoping for beautiful, sunny springtime weather, but who knows what late March will bring. We won’t be surprised by storms or wind (the front is VERY windy place). Even if you are not skiing, we recommend you be prepared to be comfortable in an alpine environment for the day with sensible shoes (parking lot may be muddy), a winter jacket, and other layers so you are prepared for the full gamut of temps You do not have to be in fancy clothes for the morning ceremony or change into fancy clothes after skiing
The venue is small, with every ski run returning to the base lodge, so the group will never get too spread out. There'll be a party at the lodge all day with games, live music, fire pits, and other festivities We will have opportunities for non-skiing guests to ride up the chairlift to see the views
The ceremony will take place right outside the base lodge. We have some bench seating, an area for BYO camp chairs, and standing room for a short & sweet ceremony. If your travel logistics allow you to easily bring a camp chair, please do so and throw in any extras you have. Thanks!
We will provide lunch and a casual buffet dinner For the dessert course, we invite any bakers to bring a cake for a delicious and varied potluck. Labels, serving utensils, etc. will be provided
No outside alcoholic beverages on the premise: ski lifts, lodge, decks, and area just outside the lodge. We are operating within the ski area's liquor license so this must be respected. Cash bar during the ski day; open bar during après
Dogs are allowed in the base area and around the lodge, but not inside any buildings or up the ski slopes
There is no reception in the canyon or at the venue so plan ahead accordingly. The ski area is small so don't worry about finding us or friends/family when you get there
