Our wedding will be taking place in Mathews, VA.

The wedding + reception will be held entirely outdoors rain or shine!

We’re so excited to celebrate with all of our favorite people! While we wish we could include everyone- if children are included in your invitation, it will be noted specifically.

Can I bring a date?

This will be specifically indicated on your invitation. Unless otherwise stated, we will not be doing plus ones.

What time should i arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 2:15 in order to allow time for parking and the walk to the property. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to dress in semi-formal/cocktail attire and lean into the overall vibe of our outdoor fall forest wedding. Women are encouraged to wear midi dresses, maxi dresses, and elegant separates. Women may want to wear flats, wedges, or block heeled shoes that won't sink into the grass. Men are encouraged to wear casual suits, sports coats, or button-down shirts paired with slacks. Please no jeans, casual attire, or white/predominantly white patterns.

Where do I park?

Answer

Parking is available at Zion Baptist Church on 3546 E River Rd. There is a .5 mile walk from the church to the venue. You are also welcome to park all along Osprey Road leading up to the house.
