Ask anyone, it was love at first sight from our freshmen orientation at texas Tech skipping the dumb events to sit in an empty dorm room watching Hangover from a portable DVD player. Kortani is my go to if I need the truth. She is the girl version of Spencer since they are both virgos. Kortani and I first met at Texas Tech Pom tryouts but didn't talk to each other until the new team meeting after the roster was posted, but ever since than its been like we've known each other for our whole lives with how relaxed and open I could be with her. This friendship is all about honesty and has taught me so much about the word. Relaxed, real, and confident.
Danial Son

Danial And Spencer met back in 2010 as Danial was just getting started in the Young Americans and Spencer was getting started in the real world haha. As the Years went on Danial and Spencer stayed in contact for the next few years as both shared a fondness for Dance. In late 2014 Spencer and Danial found themselves living together and battling the dance world as young bachelors for a year and a half. Years passed and things had changed but Danial and Spencer managed to find a way to live together again in 2018. Through the next year or so they helped each other grow and started to take steps towards the future as the days got closer to proposing to Jackie, Danial was a constant ear and source of encouragement to Spencer. My oldest friendship to this day. Angela has been there for me through what I call the thick and thin of my high school days in high school as well as college. We also were roommates at Texas Tech and danced together in the Tech dance program. The energy we both share can't seemed to be match by anyone, according to the game of Taboo. We have choreographed together, went to Monsters Hip Hop convention together, and almost gotten kicked out of places for laughing too loudly in public, hahaha. Angela embodies my young carefree side of my spirit. Impulsiveness, excitement, and laughter is all you get when we are together.
Andrew Erickson

Andrew Erickson and Spencer met in 2007. And the friendship grew from there. Thanks to Dance for being a perfect bridge for the age gap. Throughout the years Andrew and Spencer became inseparable causing all the ruckus at every turn and also making lasting memories while doing so. As the years went on the conversation between the two became less frequent but there was no friendship loss there as they say the best of friends can go years without talking and pickup right where they left off. Blood couldn't make us closer.

Sarah is my first and original "babe". During my senior year, while everyone had boyfriends, we were the only single ones out of our group of friends so we decided to stick together and be each other babes. From cold stone runs to attempting to do any homework in Gru's comfy room with all her great smelling candles, Gru is my loving friend. She has taught me that it's okay to be vulnerable, to feel the emotions we get faced with and she'll be an ear for me. Compassionate, empathic, and open.

Andrew Trevino and Spencer became true friends through Andrews now wife Amanda "Pfaff" Trevino. Amanda and Spencer had attended Elementary School together and then reconnected in High School thanks to Spencer's little sister getting into dance long before him and looking at Amanda as a sudo big sister. as Andrew and Amanda started dating Andrew started coming around the dance studio a lot more often and thats where Andrews friendship started. Andrew became a big role model in spencer life. Spencer credits Andrew for teaching him patience, and persistence. After almost ten years of dating Andrew and Amanda got married in November of 2014 and Spencer had the pleasure of being one of Andrews groomsmen. I cant wait to have y'all present on Jackie and I's big day. Love ya Spunk Meister

My captain year of the drill team in high school I was blessed to have a woman like Scholten by my sidee as my 1st. Lt. She is a person who gets. stuff. DONE. She helped me step up just bc of how well & hard she worked, not just in HS but also when we were both on separate dance teams in college competing. Not in a million years would I have believed that her & I would still be in each others lives but Scholten is one of the most dedicated friends I have ever met. Every year without fail I get a birthday text from her. Everytime she finds herself in TX I get a text asking if I am free picking up where we left off, a true sign of friendship. Authority, dedication, and maturity.

Man oh man where to start. Roshad and Spencer met in early August 2009 as both joined the Young Americans. Neither of them knew anything about each other until Roshad and his roommates hosted a party at his apartment. Spencer being the young and dumb party goer walked in to an apartment full of people dancing and enjoying the music that Roshad had been playing all night. As a song came to an end Spencer asked to play a song Roshad obliged and the rest was history that moment kicked of a lifetime of friendship. to people from different walks of life agreeing over more than ever imagined. I thank you brother for helping me keep my head up over the years and always keeping me laughing. My brother from another mother Whats good Cuz!

I finally get a sister and the fact that it's someone who can pump me up as much as calms me down was something I never thought I could have. From day one I was worried about how we would connect after hearing all these stories from her older brother, Spencer, but PSHHHHHH it was like we were made for each other. We shocked and almost creeped Spencer out by how much time we would spend together during holidays. We help each other out when the other is down and we always have each others back with forgiveness, something I've always admired about sisters and now I get to have with D. Wit, humbleness, and drive.

Chris and Spencer met on the family trip in September of 2017 While visiting Korea for 10 days. Over those 10 days Spencer and Chris got closer than they had thought the wood they shared a room, went on beer adventures, stayed up late talking video games, sports, family, and girls and food haha lots of food. As Jackie and Spencer embarked on Dallas to start there new adventure. Spencer being the new guy in town had no friends, Chris quickly became the guy that Spencer called upon to hangout, Drink,play video games find new food spots and kick butt at takeout orders during the covid-19 pandemic. Love you bro and happy to have you as a family member now.
