Our story began with nonstop messages on OkCupid which quickly transitioned to endless text messages and turned into a friendly competition of the best game ever, Connect 4. The rules were clear: meet at the diviest bar on the Upper West Side and the winner would get free drinks all night long. Underestimating Jackie’s keen talent to make four-in-a-row, Scott lost a few games and a few dollars that night. It was clear, however, that they were both winners that evening because what started as a bitter battle for free beer has since turned into 4.5+ years of nonstop laughs, countless indie films, abundant searches for the best bakeries across the country, and of course, plenty of Connect 4. The adventure continues on November 18. Can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!

Scott had been carrying around a ring every day for a month, waiting for the perfect time to pop the question. Finally one day after work, he came home with a bouquet of yellow daisies, got on one knee, and to the best of his knowledge blurted out something along the lines of, "Will you marry me?" Jackie was baking and watching Gilmore Girls at the time, and to the best of her knowledge, said "Yes." It's all very fuzzy. They called their parents and then went to Red Farm for dinner. It was great.
