Yes. Our ceremony will incorporate traditional Assyrian Christian customs and blessings that honor our faith, families, and cultural heritage.
Parts of the ceremony and hymns may be spoken or sung in Assyrian/Aramaic alongside English.

Yes, we will be offering an open bar during the cocktail hour and reception.
The ceremony will take place at our church, so we kindly ask guests to dress respectfully for this portion of the day. For the reception, we request formal attire—this includes suits, evening dresses, and gowns. And as a little note: you can never be overdressed for an Assyrian wedding!

Yes! Our celebration will include traditional Assyrian music, including lively drum and zurna performances that are a staple of Assyrian weddings and celebrations.
Not at all! We’re excited to share these traditions with all of our family and friends. Everyone is welcome to join the dancing and celebration. We encourage everyone to join the Khigga and celebrate with us on the dance floor. Don’t worry if you’ve never done it before — someone will gladly show you how!
