Our story started with a swipe on Tinder and a conversation that instantly felt easy. Before long, simple messages turned into long conversations, countless laughs, and a connection neither of us expected. From the beginning, being together just felt natural. We quickly realized how much we had in common — especially our love of sports, the strong relationships we each have with our families, and the many interests and values we share. The more time we spent together, the more certain we became that we had found something truly special. Through every adventure, challenge, and milestone, we became best friends, teammates, and each other’s favorite person. Looking back, we can’t help but feel that fate had a hand in our story, guided by our angels, Nahren and Romsen. Now, we’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people we love most.

In June of last year, what started as a simple family get-together at our home turned into one of the most unforgettable days of our lives. Surrounded by my family, he completely surprised me by getting down on one knee and asking me to spend forever with him. I was completely shocked — and may have even walked away from him at first because I was so surprised! Once the moment finally sank in, it felt incredibly special, intimate, and full of love — the perfect reflection of who we are and what matters most to us. Of course, through happy tears, I said yes! We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you and can’t wait for the wedding day.

It all started in October 2023, when we met and instantly knew there was something special between us. As our relationship grew, we wanted to make sure we were building a life on a strong foundation, so we took the exciting step of moving in together in a rental home — learning each other’s routines, building memories, and realizing just how compatible we truly were. Then came the most unforgettable week of our lives. On June 14th, we got engaged and officially said “yes” to forever. Within days, we took another huge leap together and bought our first home in Chicago. And as if the week couldn’t get any more perfect, that Saturday we boarded a plane to Cabo San Lucas to celebrate everything we had accomplished together. From our first meeting to building a home and planning our future, every step has reminded us that the best adventures are the ones we share together.

The celebration is just the beginning; what comes after is the real adventure: traveling together, growing together, and creating a home filled with laughter, comfort, and a lot of happy memories. Most of all, we’re excited to shift from planning the day of our life… to living it.
