🏖️ Hit the Beach!
1. Chesapeake Beach (Chic’s Beach) is a local favorite—just a 15-minute drive north with a more laid-back vibe.
2. VB Oceanfront- a lively beach with a boardwalk, restaurants, and entertainment. Head 15 minutes east for the classic "I ❤️ Virginia Beach" experience. Just a heads-up: the National Sand Soccer Tournament will be in full swing, so expect big crowds—but also some fun beach soccer!
3. First Landing State Park Beach (20-minute drive) – Quieter beach with gentle waves, hiking trails, and a natural setting.
🏛️Visit Norfolk- a vibrant coastal city!
Feel like stepping onto a real battleship? Take a 12-minute ride northwest to Norfolk, home to the world’s largest naval base. It’s a super walkable city with restaurants, bars, & waterfront views.
