Are kids allowed at the wedding?

While we adore your children, our wedding will be a kid-free event. We appreciate your understanding!

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Yes! If your invitation includes a plus-one, we’d love for you to bring a guest. When you RSVP, please include their name so we can add them to the guest list.

When and where is the wedding?

Saturday, June 7, 2025- Blue Pete's Restaurant, Virginia Beach, VA Our ceremony will start at 4:45pm, so please arrive at least 15 minutes early.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is meant to be fun and casual, but ask that you spruce it up a bit. Feel free to wear a suit and tie or button-down and slacks. Ladies, LBDs are a great option or a flowy maxi dress, but consider wearing block heels or flats for the outdoor ceremony!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be both indoors and outdoors.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Please let us know any dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we’ll do our best to accommodate!

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a hotel block at The Founders Inn & Spa with a special rate. Book by May 6th to get the discount!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We will have a shuttle from the hotel to the venue. Please check the schedule for pickup times. There is no shortage of Uber and Lyft drivers in the area so that is always a great option as well!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We ask that you arrive no later than 4:30 pm so you can be in your seat in time for the start of the ceremony. We will be passing champagne from 4:00-4:30pm.

What’s the schedule for the day?

4:00 PM – Guests arrival 4:45 PM – Ceremony 5:00 PM – Cocktail hour 6:00 PM – Reception & dinner 10:00 PM – Farewell send-off

Are there any other events besides the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Join us for a welcome celebration on Friday and an after-party celebration at the hotel on Saturday after the wedding. Check the details on our ‘What's Happening’ page!

Are you registered for gifts or do you prefer cash gifts?

Answer

Your presence is the best gift, but if you feel the need to give, feel free to contribute to our Thailand honeymoon fund!

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

Duh! We do not have a wedding hashtag so feel free to be creative and make your own up (you know us best anyway)!

Question

What happens if I RSVP 'Yes' but then can’t make it?

Answer

We’ll be heartbroken… but also, please let us know ASAP so we don’t order extra food in your honor.
