2 bedroom little rental condos, 8 min walk from La Bastide. Free parking lot. Also available on Airbnb and may be easier to book this way (the townhomes will be listed separately as they are owned separately but you’ll see the same familiar pool that the compound shares). This is where we stayed during our last visit to Gordes.

Marseilles Airport
for rental cars they have Hertz, Enterprise, Budget, Avis etc MRS is a small airport, easy to navigate, we had an easy & pretty drive to Gordes from here. Specify that you want automatic when renting a car (most are stick!) and make sure its big enough for your luggage.
Train
Avignon Station
there are two stations in Avignon - one for the TGV (high speed train) and one for local trains that service all of France/Europe It is then 30-40 minutes to Gordes from the station. Avignon is also a lovely town much larger than the villages like Gordes that can be used as a starting point for a few days to explore Provence from. Most rhone valley wine tours & other tours start here.
