We want to inform all of our guests what to expect at our wedding. We thank you for your generosity and kindness as we do our best to start our marriage while also prioritizing health, safety, and joy. Due to guests with highly compromised immune systems and children who are unable to get fully vaccinated in time, we ask all guests to be fully vaccinated in time to have immunity before the wedding (including boosters if eligible). Although the vaccine protects you from severe illness and common symptoms, we have no way to protect our children who will not be able to receive the full vaccine in time. Guests are required to take a COVID-19 test within 48 hours of our wedding (this can be an at-home kit). This extra precaution has caught individuals who were asymptomatic before attending large events. We want all guests to feel comfortable sitting near others knowing everyone is fully vaccinated and have recently tested negative. We will let you know if there are any changes to the policy and if our venue requires any additional precautions. We understand that the policy above may make your attendance of our wedding impossible. We completely understand and wish the circumstances were different. As much as we want to start our marriage with you present, your health is our priority. We hope that by starting this conversation early, you can determine if our wedding is an event you are able to attend. If you have been exposed to someone who recently tested positive or are having any symptoms prior to the wedding, please do not attend.
