The closest airport to Cartagena is Rafael Núñez International Airport (CTG), just 10-15 minutes from the city center. Flights from the USA: If you’re flying from the United States, you'll most likely take American Airlines or Spirit Airlines. Layovers: You'll likely connect through Miami, Orlando, or Fort Lauderdale. If your layover runs into the next day, we recommend the Miami route, as Miami International Airport has a hotel located inside the airport, making it a convenient choice for an overnight stay.
