When should I book my lodging and flights?

Answer

Lodging - As soon as possible! The FIFA World Cup has its last game July 7th, 2026 in Vancouver and places to stay will be hard to reserve the closer it gets to the match Flights - Leverage the Hopper App to know when the best time to buy your flight may be. Disclaimer: Shannon & Jack do not purchase flights on the Hopper. They only use it as a tool to track prices and purchase the flights directly through the airline.

What’s the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress attire will be Semi-formal to formal. Men to wear a suit, tux, or sport coat. Ladies to wear a formal dress or pantsuit. No Denim will be allowed. Fun colors and patterns are encouraged!

The weather is typically mild ranging from 64-79°F or 18-26°C with little rain throughout the month.

What are some things to do while in Vancouver?

The Wedding couple will get into town on Tuesday, July 7th prior to the wedding. Please feel free to join them in certain activities planned for that week if able listed under the "Schedule" section of this website!

What’s the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

There is no parking at the wedding venue so it is recommended to use rideshare apps to get to and from the venue.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The Ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner will be outside (pending weather). After 10pm, reception will move indoors.

Wedding gifts and registry?

Answer

The wedding couple will be foregoing any material gifts. If you’re feeling generous, you can make a monetary contribution via check, cash, Venmo or Zelle (please see registry page).

What’s the Wedding day schedule?

Answer

Guest, please arrive to Brock House at 4:30pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 5pm, followed by cocktail hour and reception until 12am.
