Jack and Renee started dating in the Spring of Jack's Senior year at West Point. They were both apprehensive about the future, with Jack going to Fort Benning and Renee still having another year at West Point, but they committed to going the distance together. Long weekends were spent in airports, and long nights driving back to their respective bases, but through the years, Renee and Jack visited each other all over the U.S., getting engaged in March of 2023 in the Hudson Valley, spending 3 months writing letters back and forth while Jack was in Ranger School, before finally reuniting in November of 2023 after a year and a half of living apart. After living together for nearly a year, Jack deployed to Korea for 9 months, returning in the Summer of 2025. Along the way, they adopted two cats, Rum and Coconut, Renee has sometimes started eating spicy food, and Jack is learning that cat allergies can be managed with Costco-sized allergy medication. They are now happily reunited in their home outside of Olympia, WA, excited for the future, and ready to celebrate their wedding with you.
