Wedding Ceremony at the Newberry

Semi-formal is preferred, but we welcome you to come in what makes you feel great!
Please note the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 pm. We ask that our guests be seated by 4:50 pm to ensure we start on time. Guests who arrive after 4:50 pm will be kindly asked to wait to enter until after the bride has walked down the aisle. There is a cute gift shop in the library if you want to check it out before the ceremony. PARKING INFO Discounted Parking: 100 W Chestnut Street Garage, approximately 1.5 blocks South of the Newberry, offers discounted parking rates to Newberry guests who obtain a validation ticket from our Lobby Security Kiosk. With validation, the current rates are: $12.00 for 8 hours or less; Over 8 hours, regular rates apply CTA: Bus stop is located directly in front of the Newberry, and there are train stops just blocks north (Clark/Division-Red Line) and south (Chicago/State-Red Line) of the Newberry. Detailed parking map will be sent to all guests who RSVP'd "yes" on Saturday morning via email.
Reception
6:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Cocktail hour will be held on the first level at the Whirlyball station from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Reception to follow on the second level beginning at 7:30 pm. Please note that our wedding will include a cash bar. Buffet style light dinner and cake are on us! :) You are welcome to order additional food from the restaurant if desired. ****The buffet-style dinner at Whirlyball won't be available until 7:30!**** We might recommend having a late lunch, just in case. We hope you will dance (or bowl) the night away with us. We will have a formal send off for the bride and groom at 11:00 pm. PARKING INFO Whirlyball has a large free parking lot available to all guests. We will also be providing a free shuttle to our guests from the ceremony at the Newberry to the reception. Details will be sent to all guests who RSVP'd "yes" via email.
