Waterfront, very local, diner-type b'fast. >Saturday Farmers Market @ Marion Square - Starts around 8:30. Food trucks, food vendors...a cool d'town experience. >Millers All Day - King Street >Hominy Grill - Rutledge at Cannon >Callie's Hot Little Biscuit - (way) Upper King Street >Poogan's Porch - Queen Street >One Broad - Corner of Broad Street & East Bay Street >Vicious Biscuit - New place over in Mt Pleasant that's as good as it sounds. >Page's Okra Grill - Great diner type food in Mt Pleasant (with a bar). >The Lost Dog - Folly Beach

The Establishment
This is where we went for dinner the night Jack proposed. We sat at the front left table by the window, sipping champagne and grinning ear to ear. The restaurant is beautiful, touting a live pianist and has a great bar. We can't remember what we ordered (that wasn't our focus at the time), but it was all very good! $$$$
Chubby Fish
Get there early (5pm-6pm) for $1 oysters and $2 beer! The menu is adventurous and we urge you to try something new! Blowfish tails and Grouper cheeks are both fantastic! $$-$$$

You can make reservations up to 3-months in advance, so mark your calendar for June 10- to snag a reservation! The service is top notch and the Fish Stew...I die. $$$
Halls Chophouse
Not just for dinner, but also check out their Sunday Gospel Brunch! We enjoy sitting at the bar - it usually comes with some form of entertainment. $$$$
Xiao Bao Biscuit
You will want to lick your plate...and that's ok...as long as no one is watching! We recommend: Okonomiyaki, Yu XIANG and RENDANG. $$
babas on cannon
Great date spot. Small tables and small plates. Intimate and takes you straight to Europe when you walk in the door. Try the bamboo cocktail! $$-$$$ We like to end our night at Josephine Wine Bar just down the street.
Fuel Charleston
Jack will tell you, "Fuel is the best restaurant in Charleston!" Natalie, will not. It's a great causal taqueria with an outdoor patio/seating area. Try the plantains. $
Blind Tiger Pub
It's a great local spot. Great outdoor brick patio or inside seating. Casual and fun atmosphere. It's not a stretch to see a Southern Charm star or two.
Home Team BBQ
Owned by UGA Alumni - GO DAWGS! Great indoor and outdoor space. Kid Friendly. The wings are great - try the Alabama white sauce. We love the Game Changer, but trust us...only drink 1! For real. $$
Wild Olive Restaurant
We BOTH think it's the best restaurant in Charleston. Lamb Lasagna. You. Are. Welcome. Wild Olive is on John's Island, so plan travel time accordingly. $$

Whether you want to sunbathe or grab a bite there is plenty to do! >Poe's Tavern: Great Burgers. >450 Pizza Joint: Great Pizza, but don't trust you can have more than one Sidecar - you will regret it! >Home Team BBQ: Try the wings. >Mex 1: We like to sit at the bar. >Obstinate Daughter: Recommend Anson Mills Farro Piccolo and a fancy pizza!
