Their is a daily train into Plattsburgh from NYC ~7.5 hrs Alternatively, train can be taken to Albany NY from NYC in ~ 2.5 hrs plus a 2 hr drive to Plattsburgh

I highly recommend this for families. There is a kid friendly "Kid zone" and a small indoor waterpark (very small). There is also Perkins and the Plattsburgh Brewing company directly attached to it. This is where we host residents for interview season. There is block of 20 rooms on reserve for the the Worczak-Remillard wedding. Please reference this when calling. Rate is $147 per night, with rooms on hold from 12/28-12/29. Rooms must be booked by Friday, December 14th.

A block of rooms is reserved for guest. Wedding Rate for 12/28 and 12/29 is $129 plus taxes. Please call the hotel directly at 518-324-1100 in order to book. Reference the Worczak-Remillard Wedding. Reservations must be made by 6 wks prior to the wedding which is November 16th, 2018. This is a newer hotel, is only about a minute from the Comfort Inn and Suites and also boasts free breakfast and free wi-fii.
