What if I need to change my RSVP because of COVID-19?

Answer

Please reach out to us ASAP! We highly recommend all of our guests get tested for COVID-19 before attending our wedding for the safety of our loved ones who are at a higher risk than others. If you feel ill or have been exposed to COVID-19 within the last 14 days, please contact us ASAP to change your RSVP. We completely understand and your safety is our priority!

What precautions are you taking for COVID-19?

S O C I A L D I S T A N C I N G We encourage social distancing at our wedding and have downsized our guest list to immediate family and bridal party to keep our loved ones safe. We encourage frequent hand-washing and will be providing hand sanitizer to each guest and have sanitizer stationed at each table and in common areas. F A C E M A S K S Face masks must be worn in accordance with local law when inside the bed and breakfast. We will be providing masks for all guests at the wedding. We encourage but do not require the use of masks during our ceremony and reception due to them taking place outside. V E N U E C L E A N L I N E S S Staff will clean all public areas continuously throughout the evening using hospital-grade disinfectant. Hand sanitizer will be available in numerous convenient locations on the grounds. We ask that you do not attend our wedding if you feel ill or have been exposed to COVID-19 in the last 14 days.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We recommend semi-formal dress for our special day. The ceremony and reception will be taking place outside so remember to dress warm. The weather in Clarksville can vary and tends to be a bit warmer due to its close location to the lake.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

There is a small parking lot located at the venue and plenty of on-street parking available. Guests staying in cottages may park there and walk to the venue.

Do you recommend any nearby hotels?

Answer

We recommend staying at Cooper's Landing Traveler's Inn and Tavern. This is where the wedding will be held and it is a beautiful bed and breakfast. It is a short walk to downtown. Each room includes a delicious breakfast for two that can be eaten at the restaurant or delivered to your room. Various rooms are available in the main house, including rooms with claw-foot tubs, jacuzzi suites, and homey cottages. There are several beautiful Airbnb's on Lake Kerr directly near our venue that we highly recommend as well due to limited amount of rooms available at Cooper's Landing. Two nearby cities within a 30 minute drive are South Boston, VA and South Hill, VA each contain various hotel and dining options. Please reach out to us if you have any questions or difficulties finding places to stay in the area.
