Our Favourite Coffee Shop
Beautifully indulgent coffee, roasted in house, immaculate vibes set in an industrial, exposed-brick former market. Our #1 cafe. Come here before or after a vintage run down 4th Ave. Leave with a bag of coffee so you can be transported by scent back to their sunny patio when you are back in cold weather drinking microplastics through your Timmies cup. 403 N 6th Ave #107, Tucson, AZ 85705
Coffee in *The Courtyard*
Admittedly, this is where we had our morning coffee moments before we got engaged, so there is bias. A great coffee, but come for the stunning Spanish revival Pima County Courthouse and courtyard patio and bask in the Sonoran sun. Sometimes they have a jazz band playing. Pair with a visit to the John Dillinger Courtroom or Alfie Norville Gem & Mineral Museum (Free). 115 N Church Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701
Breakfast & Coffee in the Real Tucson for the Artsy Types
Tooley's is one of the more unique cafes we have ever visited. The ultimate hidden gem. Situated in the historic "Lost Barrio", amongst many incredible antique and vintage stores such as the "Little Little Shop." Unreal home-baked scones by Tucson's finest pastry ladies. Place looks like it was taken straight out of Encanto. Shoutout Mirabel. Coffee is great, with interesting shaped ice cubes. Patio is cute. Inside area is cool. They do banging breakfast burritos and tacos. 299 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85719
Experimental Sonoran Flavours in Historic 'Hood
If you want to immerse yourself in proper Tucson, Sonoran cuisine, and aren't a picky-eater, look no further than Coronet. Set in a 160 year old building, in the most historic area of Tucson, the "Barrio Viejo", get yer insta pics lined up, because your next photo dump is gonna be incredible and make you seem quite cultured. Coronet has a cafe, a restaurant and a cocktail bar named the Nightjar, all top-rated. Experimental rotating menu, an intimate courtyard, mahogany panelling throughout, you are going to *blush*. Oh and did I mention? All locally sourced ingredients. https://coronettucson.com/restaurant/ 198 W Cushing St, Tucson, AZ 85701, United States
One for the History Freaks
John Dillinger (infamous '30s gangster also played by Johnny Depp in Public Enemy), stayed and was finally caught here. Him and his gang of bank robbers were hiding at Hotel Congress when a fire forced them out. They paid firefighters $12 (about $7 million in today's monopoly money) to retrieve their suspiciously heavy luggage, which raised the alarm after the firefighters grassed them in. What do you expect when you are carrying an arsenal that is equivalent to North Macedonia in a couple of suitcases? Food is great here tho. Loads of brunch options. Eat outside. Had the Braveheart benedict, because obvs. Come here for the history and pueblo architecture - pretty cool. https://hotelcongress.com/restaurants/cup-cafe/ 311 E Congress St #1811, Tucson, AZ 85701
Pasta and Ice Cream Hole-in-the-wall
Where my girl dinner at????? CERES is carb heaven. They do some incredible FRESH HANDMADE pastas, and ice creams. Loads of different stuff. All tasty tho. Kinda place that will put chilli crisp in a mango dubai chocolate gelato. Sit in their courtyard that is shared. Such a good area as well. Do some artisan shopping. Buy something "handcrafted" for $28.99. Live, laugh, love. https://cerestucson.square.site/menu 77 W Washington St, Tucson, Arizona 85701-1044
GOAT BRUNCH SPOT
No, it's actually like soo good. Their old spot was on a strip mall but for a second you were transported to like Mexico City or smthn. New spot looks good. Doesn't even matter - coffee is delicious, breakfast burrito breaks ur brain, chilaquiles verde (am i saying that right???) was incredible. A must have. Busy place, lovely customer service. https://famecafephx.com/menu 4700 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85012
For the bad b's
Where I'd imagine the Real Housewives of Scottsdale (if they existed) would argue over brunch about how Brent disrespected Stephanie at the brand promo retreat in Camelback the night before. Team Stephanie tho all the way. Coffee is great here, and such a lovely place to sit and chill. Food looks great but we haven't tried it yet. Upmarket place for the fancy people of Scottsdale to brunch. But its America so you can wear shorts and a hunting camo tee and be regarded formal so whatever. https://www.thehenryrestaurant.com/locations/scottsdale-az/ 7000 E. The Place You Go If You Are Trynna Get Kissed
Spenny and fancy. But good. Had the duck breast a l'orange. A million sides. Bone marrow worth it. Caviar was sick and not pretentious at all. What we will say is; the Lobster tagliatelle, (1/2 maine lobster, king crab stuffing, spanish chorizo, white wine, garlic) is a joke. Definitely one of the best pasta dishes we've ever consumed. Lovely, attentive service, cool taxidermy decor. Again tho, fancy place with dress code, but there's a guy with a backwards hat on???? https://www.wrenandwolf.com/ 2 N Central Ave #101, Phoenix, AZ 85004
Just Nice Vibes and Solid Pizza
Chris Bianco is regarded as America's best pizza maker, and the most influential pizza guy in America. Go to the Heritage Square one. Make sure you get there in advance (you cant book tables and you will have to sit at the bar next door which is lovely). It is small so tables are limited. Pizza is good. Not a tummy-hurting pizza. Vibes are just perfect. https://www.pizzeriabianco.com/ 623 E. Adams St. Phoenix, AZ 85004
I want absolutely mental ice cream that is for sure banned
We were recommended this by a Phoenix native. Legit. Crazy flavors. Top rated in US. Known for their ice cream donuts. Line was pretty long at night. As you can imagine, ice cream is popular in Phoenix year-round. Its also in like a cabin??? If the pizza didn't hurt your tum-tum, this will. So good tho. Mmm. https://novelicecream.com/ 1028 Grand Ave, Ste 6, Phoenix, AZ 85007
For Fun Coffee
Hip place for the youngsters. How do you do fellow kids type-vibe. Good coffee. Retro gamer vibes. Atari. Unique drinks and great service. They have like little cacti on their cups. Good branding, absolutely sold me. Top rated in US. There's a few in Phoenix and they have drive-thru's, because 'Murica. Doesn't make it any less quality tho. Anyway, good spot, bright, good pastries, and bagels. https://www.windowcoffeebar.com/ 903 W Camelback Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85013
