The Columns on University of Missouri's Campus
The Columns are the most recognizable landmark of the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. Built with local limestone, the six Ionic-style columns on Francis Quadrangle originally supported Mizzou’s first campus building. After a fire destroyed Academic Hall in 1892, the Columns were all that remained. They are beautiful representation of MU's campus.
Shakespeare's Pizza - Downtown
Shakespeare's Pizza is the most famous pizza place in Columbia... and possibly all of Missouri! it was named the "best college hangout" by Good Morning America in 2010. If you're hungry, go grab a slice!
The Roof
This is a Chic bar in The Broadway hotel, featuring city views, a deck with 2 fire pits & a small-plates menu. This offers a great view of downtown Columbia and is a great place to gather on a beautiful day for some drinks!
Rock Bridge State Park
Just minutes from Columbia, Rock Bridge Memorial State Park gives visitors the chance to scramble, hike and bicycle through a scenic environment. The park contains some of the most popular hiking trails in the state Visitors can also see a large cave system with its rock bridge, sinkholes, a spring and underground stream at the Devil's Icebox.
Flat Branch Pub & Brewing
Flat Branch Pub & Brewing opened its doors on April 18, 1994 in historic downtown Columbia Missouri. The pub gets its name from a nearby creek which was the water source for Columbia’s first settlers. Flat Branch was Columbia’s first brewery since 1841. They offer a diverse menu as well as award-winning hand-crafted beers on tap.
