Shortly after we started dating, Leiya moved to Las Vegas for a few months in 2020 to house sit for her parents. Jack came out to visit and we road-tripped to Sequoia National Park!

Jack surprised Leiya by going in for a cheek kiss. That's usually her move!

Leiya doing her patented kiss-on-the-cheek-jk-it's-a-lick move... but Jack moved his face and she licked his teeth. It was weird.

The shock is PALPABLE.

When the ring came out. Our friends were in on it, and caught the most epic candid photos and video of the whole thing.

The most beautiful ring from the most wonderful fiancé in the most beautiful spot with our friends and Moose. The perfect proposal.

Leiya finally got to go to Casa Bonita - we had a great time, but the divers are (apparently still) by far the best part (after the root beer).

Reminiscing about how Leiya purposefully parked in a 2-hour limit spot on their first date here at Historians so she could leave easily. She ended up moving her car twice that night to stay out.

We sat in this booth for 3 hours on our first date before we moved to the rooftop. Four and a half years later, we finally had our first kiss in the booth where it all started.

The site where Leiya was waiting for Jack before their 1st date. Jack saw her and promptly turned around. It turns out he'd forgotten his mask in the car, but she didn't know that.

Fun fact: Leiya could not make a serious face to save her life during engagement photos.

Thank god for talented photographers who can make Leiya's inability to use her own feet look cute. Also, Leiya's shoes here are her aunt's shoes, and she is also wearing her mom's wedding bracelet.

When we're not making fun of each other, we're actually very cute and in love.

Jack picked out the perfect engagement ring - classic with a twist. The ring on Leiya's index finger was a 21st birthday gift from her parents & she's worn it every day since then.

Jack got Leiya the necklace she's wearing way back in 2020, just a couple of months into dating, and gave it to her when he visited her in Las Vegas.

This pretty much encapsulates our relationship 🙃

Leiya reminding Jack how great she looked in her medi-boot from her broken ankle for their first date. And also how she almost wore a shirt that just said "NOPE" (we're all glad she didn't).

Moose is the absolute light of our lives and even though sometimes she channels her inner escape artist, we wouldn't have it any other way. She's the best little baby girl.

She has the sweetest (and goofiest) little smile!
