Our dress code is cocktail attire, but feel free to dress up more if you'd like! Please note that our ceremony will be on a (relatively) hard sandy beach, so we suggest leaving your stilettos at home! The bridesmaids will be in dark rose gold, and as always, please refrain from wearing white.
Please aim to arrive at either the hotel lobby or the lakeside beach no later than 5:15 to get settled before the ceremony. Our ceremony starts at 5:30, and the ceremony location is either a quick ride on the provided shuttle or a 10ish-minute walk downhill from the main resort. If you're staying at the resort with us, check-in time is 4:00 p.m., and you will have plenty of time before the ceremony to freshen up in your room and take the provided transportation to the ceremony location (or walk down the hill if you'd prefer). Please note that our ceremony will begin at 5:30 sharp; any late arrivals will need to wait until after the bride has arrived at the altar to be seated.
Our ceremony will be a no-phone zone! Our officiant will provide an opportunity after Leiya has arrived at the altar for everyone to take a photo with their phones, but after that, we kindly request that all phones stay put away and silenced. As always, please refrain from posting photos of the bride and groom on socials until the couple has had an opportunity to post a photo.
Yes! Our wedding will be held at Cheyenne Mountain Resort, where you can book a room to stay right at the venue with us. More information and a link for a 15% discount for a limited number of rooms booked for 2 or more nights can be found on our "Travel" page.
No need for additional transportation if you're staying at Cheyenne Mountain with us! There will be a shuttle provided between the main resort and our ceremony location before the wedding, and from the ceremony location to our reception location in the main resort after the wedding ceremony. It's also an easy 5-10 minute walk between locations (down a small hill to the ceremony, up the small hill to the reception) if you're in comfortable shoes. If you are staying at an Airbnb or a different hotel, you can drive to Cheyenne Mountain Resort (there is free parking on site) or take an Uber/Lyft to the resort. Once you arrive at the main resort, transportation will be available to get you to and from the ceremony location.
Yes! Kids of all ages are welcome at our wedding. Our ceremony will have a special area for those with babies and/or young kids who may need a break from sitting. Kids under 13 have the option to choose between chicken tenders or any of the adult meals for dinner.
Leiya is allergic to the world and everything in it, so absolutely! We've tried to make our meal selections without any of the major allergens (e.g. nuts, fish, shellfish). Please let us know about any additional allergens; we will do our best to accommodate. Gluten-free options are available and marked on the food selections.
Both! Our ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting, of course), our cocktail hour will be outside on the terrace, and our reception will be indoors.
