Located just 5 minutes from our home (and wedding venue), The Alander is our favorite local spot in our Upstate hometown of Copake. The Alander offers close proximity to the Berkshires town of Great Barrington, plenty of great hikes, farm to table restaurants, dispensaries and antique shopping. The Alander is a true Upstate experience and is the most cost effective option of all of our hotel blocks. The hotel has 12 rooms, several fire pits, a delicious restaurant and bar, and by the time of our wedding, they plan to have an outdoor pool. Booking here will minimize travel time to and from the wedding, but will require you to provide your own transport to welcome drinks in Hudson on Friday evening (9/13). **Please note, we cannot accommodate parking at the wedding, and there are no ubers or lyfts in the area.** If you decide to go this route, you will need to organize transportation to a shuttle pick up/drop off location (i.e, one of the reserved hotels).
