Airports
Ireland West Airport Knock (NOC) — approximately 50 minutes by car or via Bus Éireann Route 440.
Dublin Airport (DUB) — around three hours by car, or take a bus into Dublin and connect to Irish Rail for Westport.
Shannon Airport (SNN) — about two hours by car, or travel via combined bus and train through Galway or Limerick.
Train and Bus
Westport is served by Westport Train Station on Altamount Street and central town bus stops. Regular train and bus services run from Dublin, Galway, and Knock, all within walking distance of the town centre.
Driving
Approximate drive times: Dublin three hours, Knock fifty minutes, Shannon two hours. A rental car is helpful for exploring Mayo but not necessary for the wedding.
Once in Westport
The town is very walkable. The church, hotel, pubs, and restaurants are all just minutes apart, so no car is needed during the weekend.
