Our love story began in 2023, during a season of change for both of us. Jack had just finished his time in the Marine Corps and moved from Petaluma, California to Idaho to attend Northwest Lineman College, while I was just beginning my senior year of college. While he was in school, Jack stayed with one of his dad’s lifelong friends- who just so happened to be my Uncle Marcus and Aunt Shelby. Not long after he arrived, Shelby reached out and told me about Jack, mentioning that he was my age and encouraging me to show him around town sometime. It wasn’t something I would normally have pursued, but something in my heart told me I should. Just a few days later, Jack and I met for the first time. You wouldn’t expect a college girl and a Marine fresh out of the service to have much in common, but we instantly clicked. It didn’t take long before it felt like we had known each other our entire lives. What started so naturally quickly became something incredibly special, and from that moment on, we have been inseparable. From the very beginning, Jack brought a deep sense of peace into my life, and I knew he was the man God had intended for me. After Jack finished lineman school, he accepted a job across the country. Our story could have easily ended there- but instead, our love only grew stronger. After I graduated from college I chose to leave Idaho and join him, and since then, his career has taken us to three different states. We are now settled in western Colorado, and through every move and change, our love has remained steady, faithful, and strong. We feel incredibly blessed that God brought us together and continues to guide our journey. As we begin this new chapter of marriage, we are so grateful to celebrate the start of our forever surrounded by the people we love most. 🤍
