We’ve reserved a block of rooms at Country Inn & Suites | Hermantown and we will be getting an additional block of rooms at Black Bear Casino in August. Please go to the travel page on our website and utilize the links to book. There are also tons of VRBO's and Airbnb's in the surrounding area to stay at.
Our ceremony will be held at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Superior, WI. After the ceremony, we invite you to join us for cocktail hour and our reception at Ivy Black in Saginaw, MN. The drive between the two locations is approximately 25 minutes, so please plan accordingly—we want everyone to arrive relaxed and ready to celebrate! Note: Both venue's are wheelchair accessible!
No—all are absolutely welcome! Whether you are not Catholic or not currently practicing, all are invited and encouraged to attend. It would mean so much to us to have everyone there as we commit our lives to each other.
Cocktail attire! We can’t wait to see you looking your best! Please leave those jeans at home for this occasion! If looking for inspiration think - Suit coats, but tie-optional, knee-length or midi cocktail dresses, etc!
You can RSVP on our website! Click the "RSVP" tab and enter the name on your invitation to find your RSVP. RSVP's are due by September 31st!
Yes! We’ll be serving cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions on your RSVP card.
Yes! Parking is available at Ivy Black. Overnight parking is allowed, but cars must be picked up by 9:00am the following morning. We also encourage carpooling or ride-sharing for convenience. At this time an evening shuttle is planned to go from Ivy Black to Black Bear Casino, with a shuttle also going to The OP at the end of the night.
Yes! We plan to offer a courtesy shuttle. At this time, shuttles will exclusively run FROM THE VENUE TO BLACK BEAR CASINO at the end of the night. Transportation back to your vehicle the next morning will be your responsibility. Please note: We will have NO buses running FROM Black Bear to the church or to the venue. We will update the website as plans are edited or changed. If you have any additional questions, please reach out.
If your invitation includes a guest by name or indicates you have a plus one, you’re welcome to bring them. Otherwise, we kindly ask that you attend solo due to our venue size and guest list. If you feel this is a mistake, please reach out to us so we can try and make it right!
We kindly ask that our wedding be adults-only with the exception of our nieces and nephews. With our venue size and guest list, we aren’t able to accommodate kids, and we hope this gives parents a chance to relax, have a date night (or weekend) and enjoy the celebration!
